Anyone good with Lua and can make an addon? I main destroyers and I'd like an alert when a player control aircraft is getting closer. Just a visual icon that may be defaulted to grey and turn green when a squadron is within 15km, yellow at 10km. That's really all I need. I routinely watch my minimap to see where the current squadrons are, and where they are buzzing around on the map. But obviously when you are fighting or being fired upon, it's time to focus on staying alive. DD engagements take a lot of focus and can last 30-60 seconds sometimes just to get back to safety or dark. There's a lot of times I would have appreciated a mod that highlighted a squadron coming into my area because it drastically can affect my decision making. I see this as a visual enhancement tool and not anything to gamebreaking. No different from putting smoke on the mini map or highlight where a sub is pinging from. Would it difficult to come up with something like this?
