I am torn between used THR30 ii at 230usd and used THR 10ii wireless at 190usd in my city, which one is a better deal? Would like to know some first hand experience from fellow THR users.

1. Will both be good with bass guitar since it will be my first amp in the house and my yamaha HS5 monitor speakers lack bass response so I am looking forward to finally practicing bass guitar with this amp

2. And how is the bluetooth speakers sound from both, are there any differences?

sidenote: someone offered me katana 50 mk2 in mint condition at 90usd, but I heard the sound is not as good as Yamaha THR, would love to know if anyone have experience in that as well, thanks!

Looking to buy a projector to put in the bedroom for casual use, mostly movie nights, listening to music, and gaming. I have a 4K TV in the living room connected to ps5 with a Sony HT-S2000 soundbar. But sometimes I want to just stay in the bedroom at night and watch movies, so I’ve been looking to buy a decent budget projector under 300usd. I have my eyes on the used Epson EF12, and in my city the lowest would be around 300usd.

My requirements are
- balanced sound, with enough bass and clear mid range and high end clarity (I think the Sony HT-S2000 sound bar, even though highly praised, sounds super muffled, and lacks bass, most of the time I couldn’t hear the dialogue in movies, and I was quite disappointed, so I don’t want to make the same mistakes from trusting reviews online that might be ads)
- Good contrast, brightness and image accuracy (I have a blackout blind in the bedroom)

I mostly will use YouTube and maybe some streaming platforms like HBO Max, but I also have a ps4/macbook that I could connect to so I don’t have to worry about the apps inside.

The projection distance would be around 2 meters, will project on the white wall, seating distance would also be 2 meters.

TLDR: May I know if the EF12 speaker is still considered good? I have Yamaha HS5s at home and Bose mini II soundlink Bluetooth speaker which I both like, will the built in speaker sound better than them?

Are there other options I should explore in this price range? Thanks!

I am 25 y/o and I have been freelance teaching violin for last past two years (meaning I have some free time) but I have been actively looking for a full time job to support my living expenses. I love music and my dream is to make music for a living. I feel like I’m a perfectionist and that honestly has stopped me from achieving or publishing anything even though my friends told me that they liked the music but I just couldn’t bring myself to like it, and I would really wanna change that and just release something, I just want them to be great.

And last year I stumbled upon TAW and it was truly amazing and life changing. I read through it till week 10 and at that point I felt like I wasn’t ready and was scared that nothing would drastically change after week 12 so I paused and just kept learning jazz piano and songwriting to improve myself to feel ready. I feel like in a way I’m avoiding something or not believing in myself. And that pause lasted for a year. But when I was doing morning pages and the tasks, I was more grounded and hopeful. I want to do TAW again, should I redo everything from the start or should I start from week 10?
