What makes you feel like you have less control during games?

I had this realization that climbing out of emerald/diamond this set has felt much more luck-based than previous sets.

One question I had is if this is a product of a fast 8 meta, since so much of the game comes down to hitting two star 4 costs, and if you can’t you just lose.

On the other hand, I also thought that the removal of carousel kinda took away the item choices we had.

What do you guys think? I see a lot of valid complaints, but I can’t put my finger on why I feel so powerless when playing this set.

Terrible Truelearn percentages but okay-ish COMSAEs

Took 5 COMSAEs. Can’t remember the numbers but they were in order:

339
290
340

Most recently:
440
430

I haven’t gotten 450 but honestly made quite a few mistakes on the last COMSAE, really feel like I could have gotten past 450.

However, my Truelearn is absolute ass. 70% done with average of 47%?!

Similarly scoring people are getting much higher Truelearn than me. What should I be making of this data?

I test in a little over two weeks.

What is the name of the metallic shimmering bits on a tie? Trying to replace my dad’s vintage tie after a dog got to it

What is the name of these dots? (Or what can I search to find ties with the same thing)

These metal dots in the center of each of those flower-like motifs on the ties shimmer really nicely. Im trying to find similar ties online to buy but cannot figure out what the name of these metal things are.

Father’s tie got ripped up.

Despite the lighting, the main color of the tie is actually light blue/sky blue. NOT yellow haha.

Dog got to his favorite tie, and we cannot find where to get it. Search results for shopping are turning up blank. He thinks he got it during a trip to Korea when he was young, but we don’t know how to get shopping pages for Korean outlets.

Hey. I got 360 on my previous COMSAE,about 70% done with TrueLearn. Testing at the end of May.

My average was 52% correct on TrueLearn.

But I’ve been doing some random repeated questions every once in a while, and I score about 80%-90% on them.

I feel like if there’s such a stark difference, Im worried i remember the question more than I might think (and rarely I do actually remember the specific question)

So my question is, is the generally accepted 65-70 range of % correct measured knowing people are going to repeat questions, or are we supposed to get that first pass?
