Bought two watches from r/perfectRep / u/Micheal_js shipped to London, UK. Good experience, would use him again.

Timeline

3 Sep: first contact

8 Sep: paid

14 Sep: QC photos and videos received. I asked for a few extra shots and got them the next day

15 Sep: QC approved

17 Sep: FedEx tracking provided

23 Sep: tracking showed on its way

25 Sep: package rejected by UK customs

29 Sep: returned to sender, and Perfect Rep resent it the same day

2 Oct: delivered

The package was rejected by UK customs and sent back. He had it sent back out the same day the return reached him and it arrived 3 days later. No extra cost to me.

Watches

Both are exactly as shown in QC. The Datejust serial matched the QC and quality on both watched is excellent. True 1:1 super clone!

Communication

Fast replies on WhatsApp the whole way through, and he sent every extra QC photos and video I asked for.

Photos

  1. Both watches as they arrived
  2. Datejust: QC photo vs as received
  3. Datejust on the wrist
  4. Datejust clasp
  5. Datejust QC with timing slip
  6. Panthère: QC photo vs as received
  7. Panthère on the wrist

Looking for remortgage advice (fixed rate ends April 2027)

Hi all,

I’m trying to plan well in advance for my remortgage, which is due in April 2027, and I’d appreciate some advice.

Current situation:
- Sole applicant.
- Outstanding mortgage: ~£185k.
- Property value: ~£715k (around 26% LTV)
- Current fixed rate: 1.69%, ending April 2027.
- Current payment: ~£875/month.
- Salary: £70k.
- No missed mortgage payments or adverse credit.

My priorities are:
- Keeping monthly payments as low as reasonably possible.
- Not paying significantly more interest overall than necessary.
- Finding the best balance between affordability and long-term cost.

I’m also wondering:

  1. Is it generally better to stay with my current lender on a product transfer or remortgage elsewhere?

  2. Would a 2, 3 or 5-year fix make the most sense in the current market?

  3. Should I consider making overpayments before or after remortgaging, or would that money be better used elsewhere?

  4. Is there any benefit to extending or shortening the mortgage term in my situation?

  5. Is it worth speaking to a whole-of-market mortgage broker?

I’m not looking to apply yet, just trying to understand the options and make the best decision before rates are available.

Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences you can share.

Rear trim on M Sport v M Sport Pro

This is a personal opinion - but I think the rear trim of the M Sport with body colour rear diffuser looks much better than the black trim on the M Sport Pro.

I have ordered M Sport Pro - as many other style aesthetics of the top trim make the car look far more appealing, I just wish the rear matched the M Sport trim.
