Devon Rexes seem way more consistent in temperament than other breeds

I had one ragdoll and I currently have two devon rexes and one maine coon. A lot of people say that a cat's temperament depends more on the individual cat than on the breed, and I used to agree, especially because my ragdoll wasn't cuddly at all. There are hundreds of posts on the ragdoll sub saying that their ragdolls aren't cuddly either.

However, whith devon rexes, it honestly seems like 99% of them are extremely cuddly and affectionate and both my boy and girl are exactly like that.

One thing I've noticed that doesn't really match the typical breed description is their activity level. CFA and TICA describe devon rexes as super active, while Maine Coons are supposed to be a bit less active. But honestly, my coon seems way more active than my devons lol.

Does your mainecoon prefer bed or floor to stay?

I will adopt mainecoon. However, what makes me hesitate to adopt one is that my old mainecoon that passed away a few years ago always prefered floor to bed to stay or sleep. She was affectionate but rarely stayed ot slept on the bed. Maybe because she felt heat a lot due to her thick hair. Due to her preference on floor, I think there were too few chances to connect with the cat through physical touch.

I heard this characteristics are more common than other breeds. So before adopting another mainecoon, I wanna know most of mainecoons are like that or just a few of them are like that.
