Broad Nib Question

Noob here - but just bought my second Lamy pen. The first one is an extra fine & didn’t notice the one I ordered was a ‘Charcoal Broad’ nib. It looks similar to what people call baby’s bottom but I am not sure. Is this how the normal broad nib looks like?

I don’t like how it writes, sometimes there’s ink, some letters are not filled in, it doesn’t pick up where I want it to, etc. Just asking to know what to look out for.

Thank you

Want to learn more but don’t know how

I live in Texas and I have a Bachelors degree from a 4-Year University. This is my career, I love what I do and everything about it but at the end of the day it is my job and it can feel a bit monotonous at times.

I have a lot of interests in other academic fields such as philosophy, religion, literature, history, writing, language, etc. I have been looking at my local community college for courses that I am interested in. I would love to take classes or even get associates degrees in multiple fields, but I am afraid they will think I am undecided or disoriented as well as wasting my money. Of course, I am not expecting an ROI on these degrees since they are more like interests.

I am fortunate enough to be able to spend both time and money on these courses, but maybe there are other ways to fulfill this learning void? Is this a bad idea? What other alternatives are there besides getting a multiple associates on scattered academic fields?

To those who might say - 'Well, why don't you just pick up a book and read what you're interested in?' and although a fair point, I do enjoy the 'student' feel and the rigidity of a syllabus, and confidence of being guided through these topics. Picking up a book and going down a aimless rabbit hole has often felt like I am running around in circles. I have tried looking up 'X University X course syllabus' but its often fragmented and illegible unless you're actively in that class.

I would love any guidance or resources from people who spend much more in this space than I.

Thank you

Need Help ID Round Wood Table

Found this table at an estate, unfortunately I did not take more images since I was on my way out. I tried searching for it online but it seems very similar to a Arne Jacobsen but the legs are different. Maybe it’s just a generic table.

Any ideas would be great! I’ll try to swing by tomorrow for more pictures.

Hi! I purchased this at my local thrift store (TX). I found some information about the general roots of this type of painting. I was wondering if anyone help me a bit more information. Things like are these mass produced, originals, prints, history, or just point me in the right direction for more background!

I even bought a book about this type of paintings but don’t explain much besides more paintings in similar styles.

Thank you!

Wasn’t sure if to use the Help or DIY flair, apologies

I bought this cover for my ereader but the magnets on the cover don’t stick to it. I was thinking of using Magsafe, but I can’t seem to find like a ‘pair’ - everything i’m seeing is single application for Magsafe devices to stick to.

Any help would be amazing & additional apologies for the amateur graphic, I hope it’s clear
