Maybe an unpopular opinion?

The whole Romeo Juliet story arc between Carter and Oreana has taken me out and so help me if the next season is truly them “running away”. When we first met Carter he seemed very capable of himself, whether it was actually successful or not is an entirely different story, but in this series he’s so annoying. The vibe is boo hoo these rich people took me in and are trying to set my life up for success with a family I never got to have. Also I just hate Oreana, I can’t quite put my finger on it I think it’s the way she talks and that you can tell she’s had too much work done so now she just can’t talk right?

Indoor Date Ideas

So it’s summer in the Midwest and it definitely feels like it. The weather around me is rain, upper 90s, and high humidity. I’m looking for easy indoor first date ideas that isn’t going to the movies or food related. He’s kind of a country bumpkin sort of guy and I’m just not sure what a good first date would be, all advice would be appreciated.

Am I doomed to a pet free life?

Growing up I had a mixture of all kinds of pets from cats and dogs to exotics like lizards and snakes. For most of my life though I had cats and have always had a soft spot for them, but now that I’m older and living alone I wonder if a dog might be a good companion? Not for protection or anything like that, but a reason to get up and move maybe explore my area. I have concerns though because of my lifestyle and I’m unsure how a pet would fit.

Context I’m 24, I work a 9-5 job for the most part but there are inconsistencies in my schedule, and I live in a small apartment alone. I’m worried that my job would get in the way of properly training any animal, cat or dog. My last pet was when I was in school (elementary) and my mom took charge on training. Please don’t take that as I don’t know how to properly care for my pets, my mom made sure I was engaged in the process. I do have more experience with cats than I do dogs. I know that new pets require a lot of training especially depending on age and background.

I just don’t want to get a pet, cat or small dog, and then not being able to balance everything and end up with an animal that is maladjusted. My biggest concern is potty training and socialization throughout the day. If you have been in a similar experience I would love to hear what you have to say or if you have any advice.
