HELLP!!!! Hardwired alarm won't stop!

I have a hardwired some detector in my ceiling that is emitting an extremely loud continuous high-pitched beep.

NONE of the circuit breakers in my electrical panel affect it when I turn them off.

I have removed the unit, disconnected and capped the wires that were connected to it and it is STILL sounding the alarm (photo here). This is not monitored by any alarm company so it can't be cut silenced remotely.

I am an inch away from ripping the damn thing out completely and I do not want to electrocute myself or start a fire.

Can anyone tell me how to stop this insane alarm??

Electrical issues after transmission replacement

2010 RAV4 with over 300k miles. Had to have the transmission replaced with one from LKQ. Since replacing, the check engine and traction control lights randomly come on and go off, always together. I also noticed on my last road trip that the cruise control no longer works.

The new transmission seems to require more RPMs before shifting, sometimes 3500 - 4000, and when driving on the freeway, it typically sits at around 3000, while the previous transmission used to be around 2500.

There's also a recurring code related to a possible "solenoid D stuck in either the on or off position."

This solenoid code was an issue prior to having the transmission replaced and I expected the new transmission would correct it, but it still comes up from time to time.

I'll be taking it back to the mechanic who replaced the transmission, but wanted to check here first to see what you might suggest I ask about, besides the stuck solenoid issue. Could the electrical and cruise control issues be related to the transmission replacement?

Any suggestions/recommendations welcome.
