Living in the section of North Park, I can see planes make their landings? but I can’t hear them. But if planes take off to go eastbound, one can definitely hear them.

Each morning I sit on my porch and drink coffee. Sure enough at 6:30, when the curfew is lifted, planes start flying over North Park. Then about an hour later, the planes take off and go west.

What is up with that? It’s been going on for about a month.

In California, there is a ballot initiative process that literally gets abused by rich people and special interests each and every election cycle. This got me thinking. Why has nobody put together a ballot initiative for Medicare for all in California? I did hear about an outfit that was working on getting California, Oregon and Washington to start some kind of Medicare for all for the left-coast states.

If there was such an initiative would it pass? Then perhaps Oregon and Washington can pass their own initiatives and we all join together?

I have ideas on how to get this to work, but it’s too wonky to post here.

I am retired and paying Medicare. I have not started social security yet.

If i choose to have taxes taken out of the check, is the tax amount based on the entire check? Or is the tax based on the check minus the Medicare?

I am a 65YO retiree who got into this sport in 2018. I have 2 KingSong wheels that I like very much. But, neither wheel are suspension type. I am not interested in a fast wheel. I was wondering if anybody owns the KingSong S16 pro and can give me the good, bad, and ugly. For someone who wants a slow what other 16” wheels are out there?
