My website's DA has been stuck for months. What should I focus on?

I've been consistently working on improving my website's Domain Authority by building hundreds of backlinks from high-authority websites. Despite putting in a lot of effort, the DA hasn't increased at all.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm focusing on the wrong things. Is link building alone no longer enough? What other factors should I be paying attention to if I want to improve my website's DA?

I'd really appreciate hearing what has worked for others.

Why is my website's DA not increasing despite building hundreds of backlinks?

I've been working on increasing my website's Domain Authority and have created hundreds of backlinks over the past month, many from websites with high DA. However, my DA hasn't moved at all and seems completely stuck.

I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong. Do backlinks take longer to impact DA, or are there other factors that influence it? What strategies have worked for you when your DA stopped growing?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Does AI search actually understand industry-specific terminology, or does it just guess?

Something I've been wondering about lately. When you ask ChatGPT or Perplexity questions in specialized industries, for example, M&A advisory or healthcare consulting, does the AI actually understand the terminology, or is it just pattern-matching words that look related?

For example, if someone asks "best M&A advisor for a lower middle market healthcare exit," does the AI actually know what "lower middle market" means, what "healthcare exit" implies, and what differentiates advisors who work in that segment? Or is it just stringing together firms that have those words on their websites somewhere?

Asking because the quality of AI recommendations in specialized fields seems uneven. Sometimes the results look genuinely thoughtful, other times they look like a keyword match dressed up as a recommendation. Curious what's actually going on under the hood.

Was I wrong for walking out after this HR situation?

I recently joined a company as an intern, but later realized it was a pretty shady place to work.

The HR had some really strange policies. If anyone needed leave, they had to practically prove why they needed it. What shocked me the most was when a colleague requested a half-day and HR actually called his mother to verify the reason before approving it.

The environment was also very controlling. If I was even 5 minutes late, I'd get calls asking where I was and why I hadn't reached yet.

After dealing with this for a while, I got frustrated and eventually lost my temper. One day I burst out in anger and left the office. I decided I didn't want to work there anymore.

What surprised me is that after I had already walked out, HR still sent me an official termination letter as if they had fired me.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Was I wrong for reacting the way I did, or does this sound as unreasonable as it felt to me?

Couldn't Sleep Last Night Because My Mind Wouldn't Stop Racing. Is Brown Noise Actually Helpful?

Last night I was extremely sleepy, but every time I tried to fall asleep, my mind just kept running with random thoughts. I decided to try brown noise because I've seen a lot of people recommend it for sleep, but honestly, I found it more irritating than calming.

What exactly is brown noise, and why does it help some people sleep? Has anyone else found it annoying instead of relaxing? What other sounds or techniques have worked for you when your mind won't quiet down at night?

Is Reddit Marketing Actually a Thing or Just Hype?

I've been curious about Reddit marketing lately. I keep hearing people talk about it, but I'm not sure if it's a legitimate marketing channel or just one of those trends that sounds good in theory.

For those who have actually used Reddit for marketing, does it generate real results for businesses, or is it too unpredictable to rely on?

Also, how does Reddit marketing compare to other digital marketing channels like SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing, etc.? Is there any real career scope in this area, or is it more of a supporting activity rather than a specialized skill?

Would love to hear some practical experiences from people who have worked with Reddit marketing.

Bullied by my manager and coworkers, but I can't afford to quit right now

I'm dealing with something at work that I've never really experienced before: constant bullying.

A lot of my coworkers make fun of me regularly, and instead of stopping it, my manager often joins in. He mocks me, singles me out, and scolds me in front of others. Over time, it's started affecting my confidence and mental health. I go to work expecting to be laughed at or criticized for something.

The bullying is bad enough, but I'm also expected to work long hours without extra pay. Even taking leave becomes a problem. Today, I requested a leave that's still two weeks away, and my manager only approved it after telling me I'd have to work overtime for the next two weeks.

I know the obvious answer is to find another job, but I have financial responsibilities at home and can't afford to quit without a backup. Right now, I feel stuck and exhausted.

Has anyone dealt with workplace bullying from both their manager and coworkers? How did you handle it while being unable to leave immediately?

Bullied by my manager, mocked by coworkers, and stuck in the job

I work in a company where I rarely get appreciated, my leave requests are often denied, and I'm expected to do overtime without pay. Most of my colleagues make fun of me, and what hurts the most is that my manager sometimes joins them, scolds me publicly, and makes me feel bullied.

Today, I requested a leave that's two weeks away. My manager first refused, then approved it on the condition that I work overtime for the next two weeks.

The environment feels very toxic, but I can't quit right now because of financial responsibilities at home. I'm already working around 14 hours a day, so finding time and energy for job hunting is difficult.

Has anyone dealt with something like this? How did you survive it while preparing to leave?
