Buying after bankruptcy.

Like the title states I’m curious to know what to expect after my ch13 is done. I will be needing a new car pretty much immediately, I’d like to not have to buy a cheap car again or small as I’m tired of them. I had a truck before I filed as the miles were high and was told to buy a new car before filing which I did and kept it reasonable. My 2022 VW Taos will have around 120k miles in the next 16 months when I’m done, it will be going to my niece for a first car.

I would like something larger and maybe nicer for comfort as I do drive a bit. But how will a bank treat me, Credit Karma says 680 and yes I know it’s not accurate. I did buy a house after my first year in ch13, payments $2347 and currently make around $125k but will be closer to $150k at the time of finishing. I am planning for my downpayment but it just depends on what I can or have to do to get what I want. Will I have to start at the bottom again like a small car with $5-10k down or can I jump into a truck with $5-10k down or will it take $15-20k for approval to buy a $60-70k truck again like a Ram 1500 Laramie or F150 Lariat. I have been thinking maybe luxury suv but idk on that yet. Also interest rates what would I be looking at possibly. Thank you!

Has insurance on an s class always been high?

Got curious as I am getting closer to the day of snatching a current CPO S580. So I started to prepare myself, be logical and check insurance $5500 a year on a 2 year old car with no accidents ever and only 2 tickets a decade apart in my 30’s. I also checked a new one roughly the same cost. Can I do it sure am I happy to, yeah I’m not sure on that. I do drive more than most so around 20k miles a year, which is why I was even considering one you know comfort and interesting to drive. I looked up a 2024 Land Rover Range Rover SE V8 also under $4000 annually along with a new gle580

Are people crashing these things this bad, are they now stolen more or targeted in a certain way. Maybe I’ve just been living under a rock, as I’ve only owned normal vehicles to this point and wanting to splurge finally. I’m just stunned as it’s not a sport car. I also do not live in a major area and I’m more rural and didn’t want a truck or suv.

Original head gaskets 2022-2024

I’m highly curious how many of us with the early models of the Taos and 1.5t still have the original headgaskets. My Taos has 80k miles I bought new July 2022 still original, what about you all and was this a North American market issue only. What do you think and love for some feed back. Was it an install/supplier issue, I know there are some with way higher miles/Km. Am I a ticking time bomb waiting.
