Success (maybe)

I thought i’d give an update regarding the ureaplasma bacteria i’ve been dealing with for 3+ years… after taking the 14days doxy and 2.5g of azithromycin my symptoms have finally eased!

I didn’t notice a change ( as a matter of fact my symptoms got worse on the doxycycline) until a few days after the azithromycin course was over.

I still occasionally get the odd stinging sensation after urinating but it’s no where near as bad as it was before. my discharge is back to normal (i think) just very very dry ??

i’m still going to wait a few more weeks until i can get a TOC but for now i hope i can maybe give some of you hope

antibiotic resistance?

I on day 8 of 14 for the doxycycline course for ureaplasma but i’m not feeling any relief whatsoever. When i took the 7 day course a few months back my symptoms disappeared on day 3 then came back after the course was finished.
i’ve had no relief this time… could it be resistance to the doxycycline? or does it still need more time to work? 4 years with this horrible condition 😓

Any help?

After 3 years of constant horrific UTI symptoms, yeast infections and bv I got a full swab of my microbiome. I’ve tried doxy and azithromycin but results came back as above yet again…
I was once again prescribed doxycycline for 7 days and metrinazadole for 7 days.
this has been taking over my life does anyone have any advice or suggestions on why it’s taking so long to go?
