Need Advice on Submitting to Agencies Based on My Current Experience

Reposting as I did some fixes on my resume as a lot of you were giving advice on that vs agencies! LOL

Hello all! Looking to get some advice on where to direct my attention to in terms of submitting to agents. I am in the market for a new agency and want to know if anyone has any recommendations based on my current experience. I attached my current resume of my work so far, including a SAG film as a lead and a handful of other Lead roles in film. Does anyone have any agencies they recommend?

I am based in the Southeast US and can be a local hire to ATL if necessary.

I have attached an image of my resume (blacked out my contact info).

Any advice/suggestions are welcome! We are all actors here so would love to hear everyone's thoughts!

Sorry for the Double Post! Need Some Opinions on Which to Use for AA and Agency Submissions

Sorry for the double posting today everyone. Going through all my headshots I received and I posted one earlier today I really liked. However, after receiving some good input I found one that could be better suited for what I am going for. I am more targeting film acting and though it is all subjective, it would be good to go with the trends. Which photo would you say I should use for my main primary theatrical headshot? Or neither and I should keep digging through them. I have over 600 shots haha so.

I want to secure a solid updated headshot before I start the search for an agent again. Any feedback helps here you all have been great in this sub!

Took Advice from this Sub-New Headshots

Hello all! I posted my headshots in here a bit ago and got some great feedback and advice. I took that advice and went to get some headshots done for me. Wanted to post here and see how they are. Would this be an acceptable film/TV headshot?

Any feedback is appreciated!

27M - Recovering from Disc Bulge Cut

Hey all, had a couple disc bulges a few months ago and one of the recommendations from my Dr. was to lose weight. I started a fairly aggressive cut in mid/end of June and have lost around 10lbs so far. I am 5’8 and started at 190lbs I am currently around 180 now, maybe a little less. I have cut out added sugars almost entirely since starting and eating around 1800cal a day (my maintenance at the time of starting was 2300cal). I had some really good progress starting out with my face fat and my neck fat in particular.. however I feel like the lower belly fat isn’t changing. Is this normal??

What body fat % would you say I am right now? And how much longer should I chase this cut.

I don’t work out - but I have been doing core physical therapy exercises to strengthen my core in relation to my back injury which is supposed to help alleviate my pain and encourage recovery.
Should I be working out during a cut?
Sorry for all the questions, I am quite new to all this.

Thank you for any input!!

Does anyone else have this problem with Acting?

I’ve been acting for over a decade now on and off starting with school theatre and moving to film/TV. I’ve been in quite a few student films, a few short films and a couple features as a lead.

I’ve always had this issue and it was really apparent with my last audition as I knew the source material and I spent extra prep time with it.

The issue being that no matter what anyone tells me, I think my work isn’t good. I don’t believe I act well or that my takes for auditions are good enough. It’s like a feeling of not acting at all? Like it feels like I’m not putting any effort into the scene but when I ask other people for their input I’ve always heard it was excellent. I’ve even asked strangers or coworkers, etc people that wouldn’t be biased like immediate relatives or friends. I’m sure others have felt like this and maybe there’s a term I don’t know for it but I’m just not sure.

It’s a case of “you’re your own worst critic” but for me it feels like when performing it just doesn’t feel like I’m acting and rather just playing me? If that makes sense.. and that I’m not putting any emotion into it. Is this something actors typically deal with?? I’ve had constant reassurance from directors, CDs, etc but still feel this way.

Heyo everyone - I posted another headshot earlier in the sub wanting some feedback. I got some really good critiques and wanted to get some feedback on another shot. Wanting to put this on my AA profile as my main photo for now. Want to know if this is acceptable and if anything can be improved upon!

Need Some Feedback - New Shot

Recently had some headshots done. Tried a different place as I moved and wanted to explore some options. Can I get some feedback on this shot? Still relatively new to professional shots so I wanted to see what some opinions are from people that have experience with good photography and acting specific headshots.

Thank you!

Lucked out with a LG2 Z2E

Honestly surprised I got this deal off Facebook marketplace. Someone had their LG2 Z2E listed for about $1400. Listing came with the device, the official case, charger, and dock. I reached out and asked if they could do $1100 just to see what they’d say. To my surprise they agreed and 10 hours later I have a Z2E Legion GO 2 completed with the accessories.

Still under warranty for 8 months as well. DEFINITELY did a thorough check during pickup though - REALLY EXCITED TO GET TO PLAYING. I threw SteamOS on there as most of my library is steam and retro titles (don’t use gamepass or play FPS games on handheld) so windows wasn’t a need for me.

Hope others find some great deals like this as well. Seller was really nice as well.

I have Transitioned Over

Let me start by saying I am very indecisive lmao. I have owned all the ROG allys, legion gos (excluding the GO 2) and now I have an Ayn Thor.

As much as I love the Thor and its aesthetics, its lack of power for certain games shows when I want to play steam/pc games. I mainly play emulation but occasionally I want to do some heavy gaming on the couch or in bed.
I got the Xbox ally x to try out as I’ve not had this iteration yet.

Hoping the screen isn’t as bad as people say even though I’ve experienced this screen already with older ROG handhelds.

Sold the Ayn Thor and now have this beauty. How is everyone liking theirs??
