Just got into electric guitar. Played acoustic for a while but nothing special, strumming and chords.

I don't know if everyone can do this, but if I listen to a song long enough, i can get the tabs by ear. I know very little music theory though.

I play mostly indie/alt rock.

I need help on how and where to learn scales and theory from and also some good finger picking exercises to accomplish the same.
