Are Mike and Ike’s popular in the US?

I love them but not that easy to get in the UK and can be expensive (1.8lb bag in UK around £18, equivalent bag is£5 ($7.50) in the US.

Going in November so will be stocking up but just interested to know if they are loved or loathed in the US - and also only purchased just before you go into a movie as American sitcoms would have us believe?

Edit: wow, did not expect this level of response. Would seem they are a staple of American life and has brought back fond memories for some. Thanks for all the responses, some made me laugh so hard.

Do I need to stick with my FA?

Hi, I am 55 and have a £1.1m house with just under £200 mortgage. Pension pot is not great (around £350k) but am planning on downsizing around 60 so that pot would be around £750k + by then. I have a financial adviser (for about 5 years) but am not sure I still need him. Am just looking for nice stable investments for the next 5 years (something I feel I can manage) and will then look for further advice when I get to 60 on how to draw down pension, invest from house sale etc. my question is can I stop with the FA for now, save on the charges and then look again when relevant? I used to be an IFA (25+ years ago) so have a basic grasp but not sure if I am missing anything.

Edit- might have explained myself poorly. I have not been an IFA for over 30 years and used my friend (who is a FA) to assist with combining a number of separate pension pots into one (they were all over the place, several house moves, new jobs etc). He did this for me and then I just left him to carry on monitoring everything. I am not high net worth (the type of people he usually works with are multi millionaires) so not sure it am gaining from keeping him.
