This sub is about asking electronics so maybe yall can help. My toaster of 8 years has stopped talking to me and answering my questions, even those about bread. I have asked this toaster so many things and it never failed to give a good response, but now, silence. Yall have experience asking electronics, so have any of you had something similar happen?
This is greyed out and I havent been able to access it during any games. Its not a huge issue since I can just update my settings in game, but I don't know how to fix it. Anyone had this issue and fixed it?
It says that it's 2.4 GHz, so I know it won't be fast, but I can't get a router at this time.
They must've changed the MMR system because I just played my rank up game and I do not understand how this MMR system is supposed to work. I queue and I'm matched with all gold and plat ranks, even though I'm gold. Like how is that balanced??? I play against this enemy reyna who goes 18-14 and my Jett was 17-18 and we won 13-8. like how is there no smurfs on my team if there isn't any on theirs? I just don't understand how I only get 28 rr and rank up to plat when this system is supposed to be balanced. Riot please fix your system. Everybody on my team wasn't not using their mics and we were able to coordinate our plays and we all complimented each other on our gameplay, even my bottom frag brim who went 12-8.

This is partially a rant, but also this is a genuine question to Riot. Like I don't get it. Why do we have ranks if the actual matchmaking and skill prediction by Riot's systems uses a completely different value that is often not aligned with your rank? This leads to people who win 2 games +11rr and lose one -34rr and can't rank up with a 67% winrate. And people get ranked below their mmr and can lose 2 games for every one they win yet keep their rank or rank up. Why does riot need me to play games to correct my rank to my mmr? Why not just correct it automatically if it already knows?
If riot knows your rank better than the one displayed, why not just use the mmr for ranks? If I'm a gold player, but my mmr is silver, why not just tell me as much? They could at least make the mmr not hidden so you can see it to know what it thinks your rank is actually.
if it's the main way for the game to find opponents of similar skill and calculate your rr gains and losses, why not show the player their mmr on their stats page or next to their rank or something? Hell tracker shows us tracker score which is probably more accurate than your visible rank, although it's a relative value.
Visible rank just feels kinda meaningless when I have a silver jett in my games going 38-6 and a plat instalock reyna who bot frags.
