I didn't like how in the official set the dragon had golden armor, so I changed the golden pieces to dark green ones and also changed the wings to be more organic.

Finally got the space to get new shelves and with them I can finally display my Ninjago collection. Here in the photos it's still missing the temple bounty that doesn't fit on these shelves.

What do you think of it?
I always hear that creating new molds is expensive and Lego wants to maximize their use whenever they can, then why sometimes they only use new pieces for 1 set or wave, even though they could be used more?
I want to give the examples of Ninjago, since I'm familiar with it, Sora's current suit uses a paldron with a dragon head on one side, they used the right piece at first, but then this year's waves she has a half-mask and sword holder, despite in the show she keeps using paldrons with the dragon. Or Frak, Lego created a new head mold for him but it's only in 1 set that is about to retire soon and Frak has become part of the main cast, they could and should have included him in more recent sets.
Does anyone have some insight why Lego creates these new pieces to just not use them after?
I have 7 complete suit sets, I started collecting Ninjago towards the end of the first season of Dragons Rising, so I missed out on Cole to complete the first suits, but so far managed to get every other suit I wanted. At the end included the new ninja, I'm not sure where their suits belong as they don't always change suits that fit with the others. My favorite are the new Dragon forms, what are yours?
Bought the first volume in 2018, then the publisher (JBC Portugal) went out of business and a couple years later a new publisher appeared (Distrito Manga) that got hold of JBC licenses. They said they would continue the series but they took a lot of time even starting and rereleasing the first volume. I finally can continue the series and hope the rest doesn't take too much time.
