Attempting to add HDD tomorrow

would I need to remove the CPU & fan to add the HDD? the black mechanism which I assume holds the HDD slides out a little bit but it's obstructed. It's also missing one screw in the bottom left, I'm a little worried I'd have to actually put in effort to escape the 500gb storage nightmare (I am aware it needs cleaning)

I'm going to sleep now as it's nearly 4am I'll respond tomorrow.. ty for your help redditorians✌️
