Should I get an inspection done on it during the 10 day return window?

Title basically. I just bought my first car through CarMax and also got MaxCare. I want to get a third party inspection done but I'm afraid it may cost some money at least, that I don't really have spare (I could borrow from my friends and family.)

Is everyone doing this? Could we just rely on CarMax's inspection and quality control? I also have the 90 day warranty to get critical issues fixed by CarMax, so I want to just trust that any major issues will show their heads by then.

2018 Audi A4 Premium Plus, 90k miles, for ~$19,000, is it worth it?

Hi all, extremely relieved to find the Audi A4 community. As the title suggests, I am looking at a used 2018 Audi A4 Premium Plus T2 Quattro S-line (with 90k miles) for $19,000. I have a just the right budget for it, and I like how cool it looks.

  1. Not yet had a chance to test drive. Has a bit dodgy history on the Experian AutoCheck Report. Will be getting a private inspection done before I commit. (Details - On Experian AutoCheck Report the Car has “No Accidents or Damage Reported”, but it also doesn’t have any history after 26,000 miles, the odometer shows ~90k miles. I think it’s because of this that it shows that 30,000 and 40,000 mile service is not done.)
  2. Total past owners - 3
  3. Is there anything else I should be aware of?
  4. Is this a sensible purchase? I look forward to taking this car to a weekend trips of 300 miles or so, once a month, could the car have any major issues like electrical or engine or transmission?

Edit - added "T2 Qauttro S-line" to specify further.
