For today's OOTD I deicded the books and the background I used were perfect to recreate a Rory Gilmore at Yale look!

I'm not sure how well I captured it but I definitely wanted to it to give Yale era Rory Gilmore.

I'm in second place as of now! Proving that Gilmore Girls aesthetic is always a good choice

What looks did you guys come up with? Did you take inspiration from anyone/anything or did you just put together the cutest outfit possible to go with the books and one of the backgrounds?

Today's OOTD challenge was to wear green and embrace nature on the runway.

Sometimes with the OOTD challenges I can't help but torture myself on if I chose the right look.

For this OOTD I had several looks I considered doing but ended up with Pic # 1.

Do you think I made the right choice or do you like one of the other ones better?

Mind you there's fans of hers who don't like Petal and it's an objectively terrible album

I know I badly wanted to and was lucky enough that someone on this thread told me so I decided to document the whole thing and post it for anyone who's curious like me!

I can post more if I discover more as I get further along.

But this was insanely satisfying as I hated Sabrina and John so so much and hated dealing with them constantly.

That at least one person who saw this OOTD when voting knew I was making a reference to when Beast gave Belle the magic mirror in Beauty and the Beast 😂

I absolutely knew this look was going to flop and went for it anyway just because the mirror reminds me so much of Beast's magic mirror (especially with the roses on the back)

I almost also did a Britney Spears Lucky reference (she holds a mirror like this in the mv) but went for Belle instead.

Winning is always a thrill but I'd rather have fun even if I know it'll flop.

Although I was so sure my purple look yesterday wouldn't do well and I did win! So you never know!

If even one person saw this look and knew what I was going for it was totally worth it!

I could still be knocked down several places or at least to second but I've held first most of the day and I'm just in disbelief!

I've never won before. The best I've ever gotten is second place.

And what surprises me even more is the dress I used. Normally when I use dresses that not a lot of other players use (or have) I do terribly.

I still used it because I'm always going to go for the look I like best but I fully expected to have a super low ranking.

I'm so excited that I might win! What did you guys wear for the challenge today? Purple is such a vague theme lol but at least it gives plenty of room for creativity

Grateful for something different today! We've done so many motorcycle, beach, and other looks it was fun to dress for something else.

Even if it was obvious you'd need the ruby outfit to win lol.

This is probably a hot take but I love Paige Neiman.

I mean not as a person cause I know literally nothing about her but I love her as a concept because she makes the whole gross Fandom so MAD.

And the weirdest thing about Paige is that celebrity impersonators BEEN a thing for so fucking long.

I remember when a Britney lookalike had a bj video and people freaked out for a minute.

I remember when a Jessica Simpson lookalike got like 20 plastic surgeries to look more like Jessica.

I remember in 2007 where there was a split in Britney lookalikes. Some stayed classic Britney and some tried to gain some weight and have a bald cap and stuff.

This has BEEEEEEEEEEN a thing. For a LONG time. And social media was the logical next step for this career path. It is after all a form of entertainment. And you can make real money doing it!

But apparently no one's allowed to do it to precious baby Ariana. Or at least they CAN'T be successful at it lmao.

Idk I find it hilarious. It's like they think Paige is the first ever and they're soooo offended. Go Paige go

EDIT: A lot of people are bent out of shape thinking I'm like justifying her behavior or whatever and I'm not.

It's weird. It's obviously weird and not healthy. But I can't control Paige Neiman lol. I can't stop this from being a job. It's been one longer than I've been alive.

People were being nasty in this comment section about a girl in a red dress being fat (how dare she!) And I noticed a LOT had Ariana pfp's. Specifically the "she takes up the entire picture" one did.

They're so against talking about bodies until that body is fat. It's unbelievable

I'm not a motorcycle person so maybe this is a dumb question but wtf are these on the bike? I've never seen that before.

Also how many times will we do a motorcycle look? I'm ready for some fresh challenges

Sometimes I like to create looks in the closet just for fun. I recently unlocked this big hair and it reminded me of Dolly Parton 💔

Anyone else create characters for fun? Anyone got some Dolly looks?

This dress actually had a lot of potential as like an artsy fashion piece where you look like you're dressed as a flower.

I felt specifically that it could have been lovely as a rose 🌹

Sadly the makeup, hair, and accessories made this interesting concept very hard. They were just SO bad.

So I went and restyled the dress with different hair and accessories. I kept the clothes the same (shoes/dress/gloves but changed the hair, makeup, and jewelry.

Unfortunately you can't pick the aspects of the gown (fabric/top/bottoms) and mix match like you can when you actually dress the MC but still I felt like this gave an idea of what could've been for some of the looks!

With my MC I gave up on the rose dress concept because I couldn't make the hair & makeup match up with that vision.

The Red version (in the closet) actually reminds me of the Queen of Hearts from Descendants lol.

Anyway... I just thought I'd share because I thought this look had some potential. It ended up being a truly hideous fashion moment in game but I think it could have been pretty cool given the right aspects.

The outfit after this isn't great either 😂

My favorite is the film costumes.

Oh and the flowers/mirror I added were just for fun. The mirror in particular because the look reminded me of Snow White.

When we first see Ursula she's an allegedly long dead myth.

They have statues of her at Eric's castle (mansion?)

Regina impersonates her to get what she wants out of Ariel.

Ursula makes clear she does NOT approve by coming through Regina's mirror and threatening her. And Regina seems genuinely frightened of her.

This made Ursula seem very powerful, very mystical, very ancient and God like.

But later on when we actually meet Ursula.... she isn't really any of that. She's sort of a run of the mill villain tbh.

She doesn't seem so powerful or otherworldly at all. She certainly doesn't seem like she could stand against Regina very well.

She's just another villain with some cool abilities and a sad backstory.

I mean she was fine as a character. I have my issues with the whole villain gang thing and the author plot is dumb to me so far but Ursula isn't like a bad fit she just isn't what she was originally portrayed to be.

I sort of loved the idea of her being this old powerful being that scared even Regina.

UPDATE: I just found out they are not the same Ursula. Apparently Ursula was named after the sea goddess. My bad!

I'm on s4 and the whole "villains don't get happy endings" seems to be a main plot.

EXCEPT that Rumplestiltskin absolutely got a happy ending.

He married Belle. He had his grandson. He was gaining the trust of his other family. He could easily have won over Emma, MM, and David with time seeing as they're all family and he'd "changed."

Yes his son died but his son had a long ass life AND they got the chance to reunite. Baelfire also seemed to have forgiven his father at the end there.

Like he HAD a "happy ending."

Wife he loved who loved him. Grandson. Etc etc.

But HE ruined it.

It wasn't some author or some rule about villains. It was HIM.

He had everything but wanted more. And he did terrible things to get more.

So I'm irritated af with the "villains don't get happy endings" bullshit. I don't think it's remotely true.

Rumple is proof they CAN but are likely to destroy it.

Regina is after the author for her own "happy ending" but I wish she'd just be real. She has a son, friends, family.

Yeah she lost her boyfriend but considering what she's done she has a very good life. Better than she deserves.

Frankly it's bullshit. And I don't love the whole author plot.

I'm on s4 e15 and there's some Regina flashbacks and I've really never gotten over how badly she wanted revenge on Snow White for telling the truth to a manipulative adult when she was 10 😭

Today's OOTD challenge was "red carpet glam." And this is the look I submitted.

I noticed every time I used this dress I rank really low 😂 usually rank top 30 but this dress never does well for some reason!

I knew that when I decided to submit the look but I didn't care because I honestly adore this dress I think it has such a unique silhouette, and it reminds me of those old marble statues.

I also love the color and beading. I just think it's so pretty!

But it didn't do well again and I'm just curious what some of you think of the dress. Im definitely going to keep using it because it's one of my favorite dresses but since it always does poorly I am so fascinated to hear other players opinions!!!!
