I love Byler fanfics with this kind of vibe, but lately it's been hard to find them using the AO3 tag filter. I wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for a fic with this theme.

I was reading a book and it strongly reminded me of a song I saw a while ago on TikTok, which was quite popular at the time. I wanted to listen to the song again, but I don't remember much about it. I only remember that it was a female singer singing in English, and she seemed to talk more than sing. Like, in the chorus, she was kind of venting, and then she would end the "rant" with something like a question, I think it started with "you," I don't remember the complete phrase, but I remember her prolonging the last word before the sound of an instrument similar to a guitar or bass came in, something like "dum... dumm dum." I remember it was three times, which was quite noticeable. She sang as if she were confronting someone, which reminded me a lot of Vampire Empire and Sleep Talking.

The audio of her voice was also somewhat distorted, like Half Return and Anything, and the soundtrack was similar too, except the singer's voice was deeper and more aggressive, similar to Ratbag's.

I remember hearing it in TikTok videos with text, opinions, rants, or speedpaints instead of character edits.

It's probably an indie/folk/slowcore song, and I don't think

it's been very mainstream. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Am I the only one who thinks Jane really fits this song? I think it suits her so well, especially with the song's meaning. The cover art also reminds me a lot of El's appearance from season 5, with the vibe of Stranger Things: Tales from '85. What do you guys think?
