i managed to finally get Armgddn working under linux. After I install a game, i can get it to launch but im having to add the exe to steam and for some reason its not creating the steamvr link. how can i get it to run as a steamvr game an not just be in a windowed flat game?

sorry if this dosnt make much sense. im terrible at typing.
i use Cachyos and normally id have issues with the controller when steam is totally closed. playing games on heroic (epic games) (fall guys would keep switching its icons to windows and then xbox style) so this would make we switch to my old xbox controller. but today i just opened "game controller" in quick settings snooping around and suddenly my steam controller changed. like you couldnt use it as a mouse or anything outside of steam being active. i tried it on fall guys where it would normally have a problem and suddenly everything worked fine.
this is something i couldnt achieve when i was using windows and at the time was waiting for someone to create a program to make it work properly outside of steam.
btw when i open steam it can be used as expected and a mouse again.
has anyone else experianced this?
Edit: also im curious if people have managed this on windows?
