I got it from Rookie (same with CyberDeck), but it seems like it is quite an old build there.

It works after I set it up, but it loves to forget some things. For example, if I favorite an app, it remembers the favorite app.

However, if I set a custom profile or if I set a game to the HD+ profile, it resets back to the standard profile after I turn it off. Do you have any way to fix this, or is the version there just bad because it seems like it is a 2024 build even though it says it was updated 2026.

I am guessing the problem stems from the method used to crack it, since even some settings like turning the store button into a way to launch the app once in a while just turn themselves off.

Or should I just use a different app entirely

What happened?

Some genius decided that instead of getting their own API credentials, they'd just steal mine out of VR CyberDeck and ship them in their own repo.

Real big brain move.

Then to add insult to injury they posted their app on questpiracy, took me exactly 3 minutes to figure out what happened. As a result, i had to have the old API key revoked and get issued a new one.

What does that mean for you?

If you're running an older version, it's not gonna be working.

Syncs failing? Downloads throwing 403 Forbidden? The app suddenly acting like it hates you?

Nothing's broken.

Your version is simply using a key that no longer exists.

What changed?

• The old vrSrc API key has been permanently revoked
• The key is no longer shipped as plain text inside the app where anyone with Notepad++ and five minutes of free time can steal it
• The log upload feature now strips the API key before uploading logs, so even if you share one publicly, your credentials stay protected. It did this already but now the backup has a backup.

Why you need to update

Because this isn't one of those "recommended" updates.

Your current version literally cannot authenticate anymore.

Update the app.

Problem solved.

And to the clown responsible...

Learning from other people's code? Awesome.

Shipping someone else's stolen private credentials in your own project?

That's not development. That's copy/paste with extra stupidity.

Congrats though. You managed to inconvenience thousands of users because you couldn't spend five minutes getting your own API key.

Hi everyone. I've downloaded the latest version of the Beat Saber via Rookie, but the app says i need to update my Quest in order to run the game.

I haven't recived updates for 2 or 3 years (just turned off auto updates), thats why now i am scared that it can break something in my sideloaded cracked games or prevent me from downloading new ones.

May I update or should i do smth else in that case?

My Meta account was disabled by Meta, so my Quest 2 is stuck on the screen asking me to check my account in the Meta app. I know I can't log out of the headset (I understand that), but how can I copy my games and progress? Everything I have is pirated, and I use Cyberdeck.

IF YOU ARE ON QUEST STANDALONE, IGNORE THIS POST. It does not apply to you, you can just play BONELAB normally, and your mods will install the same way as it does on a legit copy. I'm posting this here since it's the most active subreddit for VR piracy.

If you are on PCVR (including Quest/Horizon Link) and wanna play BONELAB with mods without having to waste time downloading manually, this is for you! If you want to play Fusion with official players on a pirated copy, this is also for you!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SEEKING HELP FROM OFFICIAL SOURCES WITH A PIRATED COPY. If you think there's a chance that your issue may be caused by using a pirated copy of BONELAB, don't chase up the creators of the programs shown here.

So, a pirated copy of BONELAB on PC doesn't support mod downloading the usual way. However, I'm gonna show you a way that honestly may be more preferable to downloading mods in the game.

First: Acquire a copy of BONELAB (of course), then Download and install BONELAB Mod.io Manager manually. Do not hit subscribe.

Open up the mod manager and go to settings.

Fill out your directory locations with your preferred path. In almost all cases, this should be set to

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\Stress Level Zero\BONELAB\Mods

The only reason why it's different in my image is because I setup a folder symlink to store all mod files in my other drive.

To get the Oauth Key, go to the mod.io Token Access page, and generate a key. You should only check the User Actions, and Read boxes.

For some reason, you can select 1 year but it won't work. Set it to 6 months as the maximum time.

Your Token will then appear on your screen.

Copy and paste it into the OAuth Key location in the mod manager. You can then save and it should work.

You should now be prompted to install your mods in the folder you provided.

After installing all your mods, you can now boot up BONELAB, and if done correctly, all your mods should show up! If you want to update them, just open up mod.io Manager again, and it'll work.

**OPTIONAL** Fusion Support:

This assumes you've already set up Fusion normally with the code mod + the content downloaded, but you're stuck on actually entering Fusion.

Now, getting Fusion to work is a bit more complex. Fusion on its own will not work with this current setup. However, it doesn't take much to get it to work, and you can play with official players on PCVR, Quest, whatever.

Well, I was gonna make a more in-depth tutorial, but I can't seem to reproduce the issue myself anymore.

Either way, all I was going to say is that if Fusion doesn't seem to want to work and gives an error regarding downloading the Fusion Content mod.io mod or downloading mods in Fusion:

• Try to install Unsteam or the Goldberg fork crack into the game, making backups of the original files of course (i forgot which one worked for me)
• Download everything normally, check if Fusion works (you won't see any servers as it attempts to only connect to other cracked users, this is normal), then disable your crack.
• Now you should be able to play Fusion with official players.

I hope this helps anyone who's struggling to play BONELAB on PCVR.

fellas i got the clean files from cs rin ru (because the one in armgddn is outdated), and cracked it using Steam auto quacker, but whenever i launch the game, i get a "failed entitlement check". i know its drm of some kind but is it avoidable? i searched about it but i only found people getting the error from those who sideloaded and its a firmware issue but in my case i have the game but in pcvr, so all help is appreciated.

I'm playing a certain "music cutting game" I recently got meta quest Plus for free, the trial expired and now I can't play my modded version of the game that I got from rookie side loader. I've been using CX file explorer to launch it but half the time it keeps crashing or it keeps telling me to buy it from the store or renew my subscription. When i first tried the game it looked great but i had a problem with the game,The hands felt like they had there own weight.I move my hand irl and the in-game hand feels really desynced from my irl had and the controller. i managed to finally get Armgddn working under linux. After I install a game, i can get it to launch but im having to add the exe to steam and for some reason its not creating the steamvr link. how can i get it to run as a steamvr game an not just be in a windowed flat game?
