Espresso/Cortado Glass

Espresso/Cortado Glass

Long time-first time. I bought these Oui Yoplait yogurt cups. They are glass and is inexpensive for what you get. Turns out it’s perfect for a Cortado or just as an espresso shot glass. It’s 5oz and is less than $2 per cup. I can’t be the first person to use them for espresso, but I thought some of you would dig it. I highly recommend!

2026 LE Advice

TLDR: Gf needs a car. Looked at used Corolla/Camry but prices are insane. She was gifted a 1996 Corvette. Now we have 10k in trade. We put $500 down to reserve a 2026 LE w/ cold/convenience pkg. Based on the photos, what would be the best price we should shoot for (excluding TTL)?

Some background: my gf has been driving used beaters her whole life. Currently driving a car that has started on fire twice and is a hail salvage title. And she is finally done putting money into it.

We spent time looking at used Corolla and Camrys. But the prices are insane.

THEN SHE WAS GIVEN A 1996 CORVETTE. A family friend gifted it to her and said she could get 10k for it. My gf has a sad story—dad died, mom abandoned her, grandma adopts her. Now my gf is the primary care giver for her grandma who is now 85–so the family friend gave it to her to sell as a pseudo payment for all her hard work.

We go to the dealership, they are giving her $10,700. We put $500 to reserve a 2026 LE with cold weather/convenience pkg. They are asking $32,739.

Many will say just get a used car with the money. But she has no debt, is a teacher so has steady income. And I am positive she will drive this car forever.

You all are very wise. What would be a good price to shoot for? Is $30k reasonable? The problem is leverage—the dealership has presold all of their cars and the lot is pretty much empty, so I am not sure how much they will move.

Thanks for the input!
