He tried to follow

As she laid bare the events that had made the past few weeks so difficult. He tried to understand.
He didn’t look for flaws in her explanation.
He wasn’t just waiting for his turn to speak.
He tried to follow the thought process of this woman. This stranger that stood before him.
He’d known her like no other. He could still say he loved her even though the knots in his stomach were making him nauseous .
Even a though his heart was breaking.
He tried to fully understand as she spoke with a poisoned tongue and said things he could not have imagined.
She was honest.
Almost too honest.
He wished the details were left out. He didn’t want to hear words like love and desire. He only wanted to go back to Christmas of 2018.
He kept getting visions of the kids opening their presents.
Visions Of stolen kisses when no one was looking.
He saw himself on the porch smoking a huge blunt in that corny sweater.
The feeling of pride he had in Christmas of 18 he had never before known. And would never know again.
With tears rolling down her face she asked him do you understand now? I’m sorry. Will you forgive me?
He forgave her long before she considered telling the truth.
He went home and packed her things.
Changed the locks.
Took the kids to Disney.
She would not hurt them again.

I replied to a nasty modmail and banhammered a user account. I was then banned for 3 days for sending unwanted DM ‘s. The banhammer I used is across 7 subs. Each sub sending a seperate modmail to the user. Which i agree would be harassment.
And aren’t they supposed to have a hidden username? How did the system wrongly decide my account sent unwanted direct messages?
