Is every gsd adoption agency stuck up?

Seriously, my gsd lives ones of the best lives. Hiking, backpacking, outdoors consistently. This dude gets fresh food from farmers dog at $300/month. I adopted him when he was one. I’ve had gs’s my whole life.

Yet this is my third attempt at adopting another Shepard. Application accepted but they always find an excuse to not let me adopt because of a fence? Rounds of the same questions, every single one of the agencies has had a stick stuck up their a**.
“ why don’t you have a fence?” No wonder everyone wants to just buy a dog. Some people put the energy into training their dogs and working them.

Thanks for coming to my rant.

How am I doing Reddit?

Never knew my mortal enemy would be carpenter bees but hey how did my refinish come out? Just got the stain on today.

Best methods to refinish?

New to this world.

Any solid advice someone can give on fixing the uv damage/brighten and protect?

I don’t care about a smooth 100% finish look. I just want to make sure these last. The inspector said the logs were good and no rot present (he owns a log cabin so this reassured me). I also poked around and didn’t find soft spots.

I do have to combat some carpenter bees. The house has been sitting for a year.

Any info is appreciated!

I have the option to work remote as I do from home 99% of the time.

I want to spend a month away on and off whenever I can while working.

I currently have a 24 Tacoma with a roofnest setup but I recently took a month long trip (I wasn’t working) and it seemed like I wouldn’t be happy working out of it full time while on the road.

I’m considering a four wheel camper, go fast setup or a van.

What are your opinions?
