1 day in London pre cruise

I myself am planning a trip to London, but this is for a good friend, who doesn't use Reddit.
Her and her adult son are going on a cruise to Norway. They will be arriving the morning of March 6, and as things stand, their plane will land around 9:30 AM. But she is going to book hotel rooms for the 5th & 6th, so they can get into their rooms as soon as they arrive in the city.
She is asking for ideas of where to stay. They probably would like to visit the Tower of London and grab a bite to eat somewhere before turning in for a fairly early evening. Any suggestions of a decent hotel? Not budget, but not luxury either. If they decide they do not want to see the Tower of London, would you have any other iconic London sights for them to see in that short time frame, with a hotel recommendation for that?
Also, any ideas for transportation to the port? She has some medical issues and cannot walk too far. So I do not think a train is the way to go.
She would really appreciate your help. she is pretty overwhelmed trying to put all the pieces together. THANKS!

Guesses on my little squirrel?

Maisie is almost 5 months old. She’s 22 pounds and tall. Her mom was a stray, either a full bred or a blue heeler mix.
My guess is mostly blue heeler with some type of terrier in her, and maybe some border collie? I do know she’s 100% adorable! Her Embark DNA test is in the extraction phase.
(Squirrel is my husband’s nickname for her!)

I will be in South Dakota for 7-8 days, help needed.

I am meeting friends part way through their very long Northern US road trip, to spend a week or so with them. I am tentatively planning to fly into Rapid City and out of Duluth, MN. One of my friends has a bad foot, so her walking is limited - so no long hikes for us. Here are things we discussed doing:

Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, 1880 Train, Custer State Park, Wildlife Loop Road, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake, Lake Superior near Duluth. We want to do a sightseeing cruise on Lake Superior one day. We are very open to other suggestions also, so please feel free to share.

I will likely land between 11am & noon on a Saturday and leave in the morning on the next Saturday or Sunday.

Ideas on what cities to stay in? We thought 2 different cities, and then end in Duluth.

And how many nights in each location? I could stay 7-8 nights.

Thanks!

Monet Gardens - is this worth it?

We are planning a trip to London and France for June 2027. We will be taking the Eurostar from London to Paris Gare du Nord, then getting a private driver to take us to Normandy. We will likely take the train that arrives in Paris at approximately 1 PM. Is that enough time to get to Giverny and do the Monet Gardens and House? It will be a Friday in mid June. I've heard it is extremely crowded. If we do not stop in Giverny, can anyone recommend another stop? We already have a stop planned in Beuvron-en-Auge during our Normandy stay. Thanks!

We will have a rental car and want to explore the countryside one day.
Which do you think would be better:
Bayeux to Cambremer to Livarot to Beuvron-en-Augeto Honfleur and back to Bayeux
Or would it be better to skip Honfleur and make it a bit shorter with less driving?

Or any other recommendations for that day? We definitely want to hit up 1 or 2 cider places and a cheese place (considering Fromagerie Graindorge). And we definitely want to see Beuvron-en-Auge. THANKS!
