180k? mile 1995 GT 5.0 "Project Car"

I've never owned a mustang before but i want something i cant work on that can be "fast" and nice sounding. I cant get the pictures right now but my buddy has a 1995 GT. The odometer seems to be broken so i dont know how many miles are actually on it.

Id like to have something like this for a "project car" not aa daily car or anything like that at all, i just wanna make it look nice. The lowest he's going is $3K, which is why i came here.

The car needs some work, body paint, brakes and rotors(bad), and some other stuff i need to look at to confirm. But obviously i plan on doing it all myself, painting and all... i just don't know if this is good purchase... thoughts?

hey yall ive had this v6 300 for a year now i got it around 78k miles, i put some work on it since then, oil changes, new rotors and brakes, coolant changes, good clean ups, i dont think there is ANY rust on the underside.

just wondering what are some other things i could do?

my list not in any order on stuff to do is:

new headlight assemblies

cold air intake

appearance package bumper
