I’ll never throw this away

YEARS ago I was gifted a stack of PS1 and PS2 games from my roommate, they were one of his family members who didn’t want them anymore and he didn’t want them either. Asked if I wanted them, I didn’t have a ps1 or 2 but wasn’t gonna say no, I like collecting this stuff.

Since then I got ahold of a ps2, I figured I’d hook it up and see what works and what doesn’t and found this little cheat code sheet. I don’t think any of mine from when I was a kid survived, but if you took the time to write down the codes, I know you played the hell out of this and had a great time. That cheat sheet is gonna live in this case forever.

PS3 and PS Vita Stores shutting down, where you live will affect when this happens.

Global shutdown date: July 2027 for both PS3 and PS Vita stores

Earliest closures: Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua lose PS3 store access in August 2026

Late 2026: PS3 store closes across additional Latin American and Middle Eastern countries

July 2027: PS3 and PS Vita stores close everywhere else, including the US and UK

What still works after closure: Previously purchased content stays downloadable

What’s gone for good: No new digital purchases once each region’s store closes

While I know a lot of people will find other methods to put games onto these systems, I know some people out there still buy them. If you’re one of those people, be sure to pick up what you want before you can’t anymore in your region.

While they say you’ll still be able to download previously purchased games, who knows how long that will be the case for. I’d download what you own to your hard drive and call it good.

Witchaven 1&2 delisted on June 15th, get them now if you want them!

Cheaper on GOG than elsewhere!

EDIT: As of right now, there’s no official announcement of them getting delisted from GOG, they are getting delisted from Steam and both storefronts have it discounted (GOG with more of a discount) but as of right now, nothing on GOG about it. I will say, it’s rare that a game like this is delisted from JUST 1 storefront and not all of them, but it is a possibility. Do with that info what you will, if there’s an update on GOG itself then I’ll update this post.
