I'm gonna cry

Student loans have always been a mess but it has truly never been this bad. This is my 8th year paying my loans, I'm doing PSLF, I've been on an IDR plan since day one. Never missed a payment.

Applied to recertify my income on 7/1. Absolute radio silence. Nothing other than "a processing delay" of up to 90 BUSINESS DAYS. That's 5 months. November. Then I get a letter that they threw me into a standard repayment plan and want $2600 a month. Hahahahahaha. Hilarious.

I call and wait over an hour to get through. It's their first day on earth, they have no idea what's going on with anything and can't give me a time frame for my recertification. It's just so depressing and ridiculous.

Has anyone else had their plan recertified timely? They placed me into a 60 day forbearance which I truly did not want to have to do. She said "it should be processed by by then" lmao ok what if it's not?

Delay?

Has anyone gotten this message when recertifying for IBR? How long is this going to take? My current payment ends next month and I cannot go into the standard plan at $2200 a month.

Price increases??

Can someone explain the uptick in prices? Everything costs more. Basic things that were always $3 or $4 are now double digits. The prices also end in different numbers now. $5.09. $7.19. $10.33. What's with the random prices?

I don't understand and no one can provide an answer. I know so many people who just don't pay their medical bills. What happens? We live in Wisconsin. I've seen that the statute of limitations is 6 years. But 6 years for what? 6 years to bug me? Collection agencies are all over the place. What happens if I just don't ever pay my $140 bill? It goes away?
