Hi all! Longtime lurker, now currently pregnant with our first. I haven't yet told friends that use daycare (only 10 weeks along), so I turn to you all for the first round of advice.

I WFH full time. My husband and I are just starting our daycare search so we can get on wait lists asap. Because I'm at home with a flexible schedule, we are looking for daycare within a 2 mile radius in any which way...and that means we have a ton of options! Even the priciest options are within our budget, so that doesn't super narrow it down either. I'm having trouble narrowing it down from a list of 20 for next steps.

How many daycares did you tour/get on the wait-list for? How did you weed down your initial options?
