One of my worst nightmares came true today

Today I took my (currently potty training) toddler to play at a children's museum. I put a diaper just in case, but he's now to a point where he wants to use a toilet only. I notice he's messing at his diaper area, giving me cues he needs to go. I also needed to go. I hate public restrooms, they're really horrible, but I told myself this is a much cleaner place than most and accepted my fate. Little did I know, my toddler would decide a tantrum was in order IN the bathroom. He laid out on the floor, grabbed toilet paper off the floor, and rolled around. A NIGHTMARE!! I cried right then and there. I panicked and to make matters worse neither of us got to pee (what was I thinking ) and he rubbed his hands all around the sink with soap and I quickly rinsed and carried him out to the car. I don't even remember if I properly washed my hands but we are both contaminated now and I'm thinking what if we get sick. Now he is asleep in the car and I can't take him inside until I prepare for how I will clean him before he touches anything in my house. Then I also have to take his car seat apart to clean. I have alcohol wipes that I wiped his arms and legs and my hands. I don't know how I'm going to do this going forward. I'm disgusted right now.

Am I sure to bring bedbugs bag from an infested house?

EDIT - sorry I meant to say BACK from an infested house

Hello, I am extremely terrified of bugs, parasitic or bedbugs specifically. So much so that my husband was telling his family about my phobia and how we encountered carpet beetles at a hotel stay. They proceeded to tell him that they "had" bedbugs about a year ago and were able to get rid of them theirselves. They have been in my home a few times but not recently. We go to theirs, but not often at all. Usually we are outside for a cookout.
Now I do not want to go at all and I'm doing everything to avoid it, but I know I probably can't keep this up. We've met them for dinner or the park but I'm just really terrified to go in their home or have them at ours. What should I do in this case? I don't believe they could have eliminated an infestation on their own. Their home is very cluttered with furniture and they have added carpet to the family room. Please help!

I'm not sure if therapy is enough and I feel helpless.

I think I have always had OCD, but it has shown up in different ways throughout my life. I was so afraid something would happen to the closest person in my life, and I lost them months into my obsession over it.
Through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond, everything has gotten worse. I had a crippling fear of something happening to my baby or me, and then fear of illness and germs proceeded, and now that along with contaminating spaces in my home or car or myself and a (new) major fear of bugs. I have rituals around cleaning, especially the bathroom and kitchen. I feel this is necessary and I am not really willing to change the steps I take with that. What I worry and struggle with most besides my child coming in contact with germs, bacteria, etc. is the fear of my home being infested with insects or pests. my family travels a couple times per year, and we recently were exposed to carpet beetles in a hotel, which was a horror for me. my husband talked to his parents about how it affected us and how I had a fear of bed bugs as well, and it turns out they had an infestation (they say one year ago).

Now I am doing everything to avoid seeing them which I know is wrong. I already think their house is filthy, I'm afraid of roaches or mice or any other nasty sort of thing. I cannot use their bathroom and I hate eating there. Now I also do not want them to visit my home that I keep immaculate. I am so afraid they did not actually address the bed bug problem, especially since they didn't hire professionals. I am hyper vigilant and overwhelmed by this new fear and I really don't know what to do. Is this contamination OCD? I have been working with a therapist who deals with compulsions and working on exposure therapy when it comes to my home and contamination. I am happy to say I am not fearful after my most recent hotel stay, it was by far one of the cleanest I've been in. But I am so terrified of being exposed to them through my in laws.

This isn't a bed bug, right?

I posted a photo that wasn't very clear yesterday and found another live bug today and I'm honestly still uneasy even though I think a commenter was right about identifying it as something else. I'm just terrified and don't understand where they are coming from

Would they ever look this small or dark?

I'm terrified of bugs, especially of the thought of getting bed bugs. Found this on my bed, it crumpled easily and it was really hard to tell what it could be.
