Do they waive erc rates?

Hiya me again,

Since yesterday we’ve discovered we have an ERC to pay.
Our mortgage is with Barclays.
Our mortgage is up fixed term on December the 29th.
Our mortgage offer for our new house expires 19th Nov even with an extension it’s 19th December.

Has anyone had their erc lowered or waived? I don’t know what to do I’m so stressed. We never knew about this as I was told no fees but there’s been a mistake somewhere.
I’ve been told our fees our 2% erc as I had contact from my mortgage advisor last night.

I am beyond stressed.

Also any email addresses I can contact Barclays I only ever find phone numbers 😭

How to travel alone to California?

Hiya I then 30 in March.
My husband doesn’t want to go away for it and saying he can’t afford to etc. I’ve offered to obviously pay his part but nope. He also didn’t want to go to California but I do.
If I do California, Beverley hills, Disney & then vegas are there any groups that I can go with? Or places that a safe for a lone woman? I feel like I wouldn’t enjoy myself much going alone but life’s too short not to the travelling.
Any advice would be great. Thank you x

WHY IS HE SO UNGRATEFUL?

I’ve been with my husband ten years and never in my life have I felt is as ungrateful as he has been recently and it is killing my soul.
Are relationship is far from perfect but he is beyond upsetting me now.
Last Christmas I booked him a surprise holiday to his dream destination. I am the bread winner in our household but this does not matter.
I made sure I could afford every penny of the trip.
In the end we had a gift of some money shortly after I booked the trip and it was paid off- it was never the plan the funds came as a surprise after.
Of course I’d love him to book me a surprise trip lol but he doesn’t earn the money to & we are moving very shortly into a dream house.

It’s his birthday tomorrow and he has one friend I don’t have the friends phone number etc or any contact details either at all.
But I wanted his birthday tomorrow be special, in the last year he has a relationship with his dad again. And my family are loud but so caring and supportive.
We organised a day for him, his dad joined us (3 hour train ride for his dad). We organised payments beforehand etc. my husband didn’t need to pay a penny. It was fully an activity my husband enjoys as well. My family are loud but harmless. Very gobby and banter between the family that’s all.

My husband is in such a bad mood. He’s complained I was too loud. Not a single thank you.
We’ve all got him a really nice gift tomorrow and we’ve all split the cost.
I booked a nice spa day (his choice after asking him for weeks what he wants to do). And we are having food before hand.
I asked what he wanted for breakfast, any specific drink but he’s been nothing but miserable and ungrateful.

I don’t even know why I’m still trying. I feel like I’m being extra nice to compensate for why he’s constantly mad at me. Yet in all honesty I don’t really have anything to be sorry for?
I don’t know what his issue is. When it was my birthday it was windy and rainy and we all went to a farm for the day and then for food. I’d have loved a spa day but I know it’s not in my husbands budget etc.
he doesn’t care when I spend money on him he just moans when I spend money on anything. I’ve got savings. I do get myself treats every so often but nothing a lot. I don’t really buy clothes mostly second hand. I work three jobs so work hard for what I have

Heathrow airport parking

Hiya everyone,
I’m flying from Heathrow soon and I’m trying to find reasonable parking costs.
I’ve found a parking comparison site and TLC parking has come up as a great price.
I’ve already checked public transport, car hire, trains and coach and parking is coming in at cheapest.

Any recommendations please? I don’t want our car damaged!
Thank you
