Dacia Bigster question

Hello everyone,

We just got out third child and found out the biggest issue is logistics. So we are looking into buying a bigger car. The biggest car we currently have is a Dacia Logan MCV 2 from 2016. Great car with small kids: cheap reliable, big, doesnt matter if it gets dirty. Unfortunately it barely fits 2 of our children seats + maxi-cozi in the back. For now it is doable but when the youngest one is grown out of the maxi-cozi and needs the next seat we will need something bigger.

So we are looking for a car wich can seat 3 children seats next to each other or a 7 sits option. And it needs a big trunk so we can transport lots of stuff.

With our wishes we ended with the current options are the VW sharan/Seat Alhambra and the Skoda Kodiaq. With our budget(Max €35000) we are looking at a 6 - 7 year old car with less than a 100k km.

However I just found out of the existence of the Dacia Bigster which is just in the range of our max budget. The problem is that It cant find anything on the width of the back seat. But going by the name Bigster so it should hopefully be bigger than the Dacia Logan we currently own. I was thinking on checking one out at a dealer but it is a few hours driving from me.

So I was wondering if anyone could help me with this and check out the back seat width.

An additional question which probably cant be answered is about the upcoming Dacia striker. I found it will be a bit longer than the Bigster. But is there anything known about the the trunk volume and the is it safe to assume the width of the back seat is the same?

Kia PV5 passenger plus Pro long range

Hello everyone,

I am looking for some input.

I am looking for a family car, and the 'Kia PV5 Passenger Plus Pro Long Range' is one of the cars I am considering. I never had an electric car but with the upcoming Iran crisis an electric care is becoming more attractive. My biggest concern is its range. Online it says that the range is 412 km according to the WLPT test. Ofcourse this is a standardized test and I was wondering how that compares to the actual use.

And ofcourse I know speed is not the only decisive factor for the distance you can drive. Drive style, winter/summer tires, and weather and a lot more had an impact but I was wondering what I can expect under the following conditions:

Where we live most roads are 70-80km/h. And the highway is 110km/h.

Also we drive through Germany a few times a year and while we dont try to break the sound barrier like some drivers there we try to hold nice cruising speed of 120-130km/h.

I would love some feedback!

The family is expanding and I am looking for a 7 seater. The only problem is that I am totally not a car person nor is my wife.

So what we are looking for a car is not too old (around 2020). Not super much km's (+/-100k km). Spacious the amounts of stuff you need to transport with children is crazy. Pièce around €30000.

This led is to a few models:

VW Sharan / seat Alhambra (due to its size)

Recently the Kia Sorento seems a possibility (dus to the hybrid option and a friend recommend it).

How is everyone experiences with these cars especially concerning reliability and maintenance. Or would anyone recommend something different?
