My 2nd finn dance!

Just a fun thing I made as a ty to simon chong! For those who don't know, he's a gem

Finn gets down to tame impalas "dracula"! refrence used was Jimmy Jr by Simon Chong. one of the directors of bob's burgers. this took forever and is my longest linework project (ive only done under a second before) so plz forgive the drift, ive learned how to avoid it in future projects thank you 2d animation subreddit

Just a pencil test. Im testing a few new styles of animation, you might have seen my fan fic or title card animations floating around, and I do something closer to the animation in side quests. Id like to add action sequences tho and so im practicing fast movement. I used tame impalas dracula, and I used the animation by Simon chong of Jimmy jr from bobs burgers dancing like Jack black as a guide. Kinda deep cut, but I hope you like it. Lmk what you think

Granted this is movement tracking free handed, not rotoscoping. Should I be using a grid? Any good suggestions on grids? I can fix the size problems, by altering frame by frame, but im only halfway thru the animatic and dont want to do that again.

Side note: The guy who originally did Jimmy Jr doing this dance works on bobs burgers, and looking at his frame by frames to get the movement right i noticed he did it all on 1s. I was so shocked I stood up and paced for a few seconds taking in the implications of the amount of work he did! He is an amazing animator

I made this tiktok viewer requested animation, they love scarab and wanted them and prismo in the tea house. Hopefully its not too goofy for their taste. Im just getting into sound effects (Foley) so forgive me if I went overboard.
