NUTCRACKER SYNDROME

Dealing with chronic GI Issues since 10 years, chronic nausea since 6 months after every meal and brain fog and fatigue as well as rapid heart rate SOMETIMES, BUT not like many pots people symptoms I've been reading about, also not every day.

CT scan showed severe NUTCRACKER SYNDROME. CAN THIS cause my issues?? I've done every test besides gastric emptying test, i DONT have pelvic pain or blood in urine, neither in lab test nor visible.

Hopeless

Hey, the past few weeks I'm only getting worse and spiralling more and more. I don't meet friends, i don't go out because anytime I eat I get so extremely freaking nauseous. Nausea suddenly hit me in February but progressively gets worse every month. I had a 2 week symptom free time but that's about it. The nausea is killing me, my stomach is making weird noises after every meal and feels like it's doubling in size and stays like that for hours. Doctors gave me motilium, paspertin, Omeprazole. Im constantly taking digestive bitters, high dose ginger supplements and motilium daily 3x. It Just doesn't help!!!

Another weird thing in getting is a food feeling stuck feeling without it actually being stuck, it's very painful very high in my esophagus and if it's there , it's also there on empty stomach. Then suddenly it just goes away for weeks.

Endoscopy, sonography, blood tests were all normal, no food intolerance whatsoever. I had a CT scan which showed the nutcracker syndrome apparently severely but doctors didn't even tell me about it, i just read it on my report... however I don't have any of these symptoms (blood in urine, pelvic pain, etc).

What am I missing? Im really only getting worse every month and BECAUSE im still eating every day, people just think I'm making this up or it's all in my head. I eat yes, but I suffer the consequences and need a literal 5 hour break after eating to deal with the symptoms. Im only eating zucchini, fish and potatoes, steamed apples and eggs. That's it. No spices, not much oil nothing.

What else can I try/ do?

Im so so desperate.

Desperate and suffering

Hey all,

Im really at a very low and desperate point in my life.

I'd like to share my story chronological:

Im currently 28 years old (female)

**AGE 18: 2016**

**Tummy issues started with periods of sudden nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting after eating. They would be around once a month and last for a few hours. I went to a naturopath, who also gave me a specific diet to follow, which I did and I started to feel better slowly. I ate pretty much the same thing (cooked vegetables, fish, rice) every single day for years, because that was the only thing not hurting my stomach. But as it got better and better, i started to eat more normal again and these episodes also stopped completely.**

**Fast forward to 2023**

**I suddenly developed acid reflux over night. I was never having reflux, woke up one day and it never went away. I had heartburn, reflux, lpr, morning reflux, sore throat, hoarse voice etc. Took ppis, adjusted my diet again, took Slippery elm, melatonin, didn't eat long before bed etc etc, I tried so many things but the burning always was there. It got better a little bit with ppi but not too much. Endoscopy showed 4 cm hiatal Hernia, scopes showed antrumgastritis type c chronic.**

**I also got swallowing problems, where it would hurt to swallow and food just felt stuck in my chest for hours. This situation was same for around 2-3 years.**

**Fast forward to 2026 February;**

**I was suddenly nauseous. One day to next i was nauseous after every single meal. Ppi, Ginger root, motilium, etc everything didn't really help. In the past few days I don't only have nausea but also stomach pain, bloating, nausea is much worse and just feeling meh. Now the interesting thing is, my reflux stopped completely since I'm nauseaos. The reflux was so impossible to treat for me, i just can't wrap my head around the fact that it's just gone? But anyway it got replaced by a worse Symptom, because the nausea is making me insane. I only go to work and home, i don't meet friends anymore, i can't go travel or anywhere, because anytime I could feel sick. Im really struggling.**

**Tests I had:**

**Endoscopy march 2026 (normal, didn't see hernia, no gastritis, no Helicobacter, no Reflux).**

**Sonography (normal)**

**Head MRI (normal)**

**ABDOMINAL CT SCAN (nutcracker syndrome, constipation)**

**Blood tests (all normal, including liver counts. Only thing was iron deficiency)**

**On Monday I will have a Barium swallow, gastric emptying scans are not really performed here, Many don't even know what it is.**

**Please, if you know anything I could do, let me know*

UPDATE! BARIUM SWALLOW test today was normal, no hernia seen, no reflux while laying, normal swallow.

I don't know what is real and what not

It's me again, and atp i think I need mental help. I've always had ocd like thoughts where I would obsess with specific fears that changed again and again ( i was in therapy, but I don't know if I made any progress).

One year ago I started getting Twitches and pins and needles all over my body. Also my arms FELT weak but weren't, it was like restless legs but in the arms. I was already freaking out back then but eventually the weak Hello feeling subsided and I was more calm, even tho the twitches kept happening here and there.

A week ago my left calf felt very tight and I got a cramp that night.

Three days ago my shoulder and biceps started twitching and again i got that jello feeling in my arm again with light tremor and shaking when holding something like a glass of water etc. Atp i was already panicking again, scared of ALS ANd I think 3 or 4 nights ago I woke up in the night and subconsciously wanted to lift my blanket but couldn't. Like my arm didn't listen to me and dropped down whilenlifitng the blanket. That sent me into a panic attack, i spiraled, I couldn't sleep anymore even tho my arm worked normal after that incident, but the weird feeling in the arm has not gone away. My left calf still feels stiff and the other night I got a cramp in the right calf which is now also incredibly Stiff. My biceps feels like it will cramp soon too also it Twitches and feels weak. Im at the point where I avoid any work with my right weird feeling hand, scared that I will loose strength and then my fear will be confirmed. I already use magnesium oil, glycinate, b vitamins, eat bananas, drink water etc, but all that long before the cramps and Twitches started ( and still do)

I've read several stories of *** starting with tight muscles and I'm just terrified beyond words.

Im 28, female btw.

Thanks for reading

Am i insane?

Im going insane

I’m having really bad fear and panic right now. About a year ago I started getting twitches all over my body. Now I sometimes had this feeling in my LEFT HAND that it was somehow weaker. Yesterday I also felt like my foot was weak, but not extremely bad, and there was nothing noticeable.

Yesterday my right hand suddenly became more shaky, like when lifting a glass. Twitches in my right shoulder started . After that I went to sleep. I had been lying on my right arm, and when I woke up I lifted the arm half-asleep to lift my blanket because it was hot, and my arm immediately dropped down. Kinda like I couldn't lift it, as if my brain wants to but my body doesn't allow. After that I tried to lift it again and it didn't work, but the third time I could lift it again normally. Also I've been having calf cramps and a stiff calf despite taking magnesium glycinate and a b complex.

Thanks for reading. Maybe someone can tell me if this is concerning. Oh and btw Tbh I was always scared of these Twitches but I just shook it off. But this incident made me worry badly.
