Is Sam more the New Benji or the New Jason

A lot of weird friends that she works into the show, makes bits about her, tends to be out there and describe it as normal, air time is her oxygen, fights with everyone to get more air time.

Her stable home life makes her more of a Jason, but her wackiness puts her in the Benji camp.

Your thoughts? (in my best bobo voice)

What if tipping were banned by law?

This is not a knock on servers, just a question about cause and effect. Nor a question about living wage. Just a question -

If tipping and service charges were all banned. The price is the price (plus tax). What would happen?

I imagine server hourly wages would go up (in most areas).

Prices would go up.

I imagine lots of servers would quit. Would they be hard to replace?

Would servers be able to 'strike' for a living wage despite not working for the same company. Or could all Fridays/Yard House/Applebee's/etc servers quickly unionize and strike their individual companies.

Eric Andre Quietly Tells Howard the Best shows were 5+ years ago

I am still a few weeks behind...

Listening to the Eric Andre interview and if you notice every reference Eric makes on how great the show is references bits from 5+ years ago...

Stuttering John press conferences...

Prostate karaoke...

Howard leans in and makes long ago references as well... Eric takes Viagra prior to coming on the show...

Talks about Howard at WNBC... WWWW... Howard doing it with young kids (now in their 30s)

Zero mentions about the show in the last 5+ years.

Not a bad interview... Just two guys reminiscing about the 'good ole days'.

Howard's laughable stance on NBA owners not letting the players make more money

(I am 1.5 months behind.) The other day Howard (the owner of the Howard Stern Show) gave a long soliloquy about NBA owners limiting players from making all the money from their shirts. He also went on a rant about owners not letting the players make more because the owners want to keep more money. Is this guy for real?

He makes his "players" (staff) must sign NDAs and cannot make money telling their stories. He makes tens of millions while most his "players" scrape by. Then he fired a ton of them vs. making a few million less.

What a tool!

Did Robin fake her cancer Extent?

As the title suggests... could the who Robin beating devastating cancer be a hoax, or at the very least, an extreme exaggeration? Hear me out...

  1. Robin has a history of lying. Remember her fake charity events where her friends were keeping a large percent of proceeds? She had no problem defending it.

  2. She said her doctor was screaming down the hall when she was clean. A cancer doctor? Didn't read the report? Screaming down the hall because he was so excited ONE patient is cancer free? As a survivor, I can say I have never seen or heard of a doctor doing such a thing. It is a daily struggle.

  3. Cured? Nope. Once clean scan means you are in remission. "Cured" comes after 5 years of clean scans.

  4. No missed shows. After the original surgery, she has not missed a show. Someone who is fighting active aggressive cancer would need time off, have bad days she simply could not get out of bed, treatments, etc.

  5. She is a narcissist beyond most narcissists. (Howard excluded.) It is about her. She has not been relevant on the show since she stopped doing the news years ago.

So, did Robin exaggerate the extent of her cancer?
