Solo devs, have you ever abandoned a project you worked on for years? Why?
And did you regret doing it?
Do you build community for your project? How is it going?
Solo dev by itself is immense work. Making content for marketing as well. I read about making discord and communities, but i have no idea what to do in that discord 😅 i mean, even in social media with many follower , making engagement is still hard. A discord is live. They can see us online so it might felt awkard no? Not to mention it means i need to market the discord as well? What's your experience on this.
Are you still comfortable getting hugged by your parents after growing up?
reddit.comDo email list works and worth to build?
Because i personally ignore all emails. And most of them go to spam or something and never got read.
I used to think that knowing everyone's mind would be more effective than talking. But seeing how the internet is, I realized I was wrong.
On the internet, everyone says whatever they want to say, and we end up seeing some scary stuff. What we have now allows us to think twice before acting—and sometimes even do the complete opposite of what's in our head. For example, still smiling when we really want to choke a nasty person! 😂
We need that filter for the world to function properly. Not being able to read each other's minds is definitely a feature, not a bug."

When depressed, I reminesence a lot. Then I saw that every species in planet is actually just surviving and growing.
Not a grand growth or anything. Simply a 0,00000001% growth than yesterday is already a growth.
