Then and now 🩷🤎

I wasn’t going to buy a shirt at this concert cause they weren’t my favorite but I did offer to buy my friend one cause her husband paid for our tickets and then she asked if we wanted to buy matching ones, so I ended up getting one. Definitely prefer the most wanted one for the color 🩷💜 but I don’t mind to the LoS one either

I have a newfound appreciation for ___ after seeing her perform it live.

**Reposting this cause I was told to remove the name of the song in the title for spoilers**

I’ll be honest here, I never really liked this song. I just found it ok. I guess I just never really “got” it and it wasn’t really doing anything for me sonically. Sometimes I’d skip it when listening to the album and sometimes I’d listen and try to get why a lot of people liked it. But I don’t know, when I heard her perform it live the other day, I guess something just clicked. It’s not like I didn’t know what the lyrics were, but when I heard her singing them it’s like I was hearing them for the first time and relating to them.

I'm pullin' on holes of an adult size medium
The 20-year-old me still in here
I'm wakin' up to a dream sequence
Sometimes I can't see me in it.
Was any of it worth it after all?
Is my reflection someone else's I stole?
But if it's mine, can I still keep it
If I can't see me in it?

I was lowkey mesmerized when watching her perform it. I took a quick 20 second video and that was it cause I wanted to remember the feeling I had when I saw it live but also really wanted to focus on it.

Before my show, I saw a video on Instagram of someone crying at the concert to this song and I was like “huh, that’s one song I don’t think I’d cry to” and while I didn’t cry at that song at the concert (I cried after So Yesterday when Hilary herself started crying) if I saw her live again I’d probably at least tear up during it.

Anyhoot 🦉, what are your thoughts on this song?

Simultaneously love and hate seeing everyone’s photos from their concerts on social media.

I love seeing everyone’s pics and videos from their concerts and wanted to post some from mine, but so many of the posts I’ve seen are from those who had better seats and therefore have better quality pictures and videos. I know it doesn’t matter in the long run, I’m still happy with my videos and the important part is I had fun at the concert, but ugh I wish I wasn’t like this. Comparison is the thief of joy for real.

On that note does any one wanna post their favorite pic/video (can we post videos?) in the comments (if that’s allowed?)

I don’t think my brain processed that I saw her live tonight.

Lying wide awake in my hotel room, have to get up at 6am to catch my flight, and I just can’t believe I saw her live (again!). She was my first concert when I was 9 years old and if you had told me then that I would see her 21 years later at age 30 (good lord) I wouldn’t have believed it. I honestly thought I’d cry like 30 seconds into the concert during Wake Up but I actually didn’t start crying until after So Yesterday when she herself started crying. It was so surreal to see her perform again and even more special that it was in her hometown. Concert amnesia is unfortunately a thing so I’m gonna try and remember as much as possible. I’m already trying to go to another show closer to my home.

Random thoughts:

• Play with Fire was 🔥I’m so glad she did the Houston line again.

• I didn’t even bother to get one the special cups cause the lines were so long for everythingggg.

• shoutout to the two guys who complimented my most wanted tour shirt

I’m sure I have more to say but I can’t think of anything else cause my brain isn’t working lol.

Cynthia Woods Mitchell pavilion bag policy question. Is this considered a “handheld clutch” ?

This might be a stupid question, but I don’t care. I’ve never been to this venue before and wanna get this straight so I don’t get screwed not bringing something in. I don’t know what they consider to be a handheld clutch. Do I actually have to bring something that I carry in my hand or under my arm the whole night, or can I bring in this that goes across my body? It fits the size requirements. I’d appreciate a response cause I don’t live in the Woodlands, let alone Texas, and am not driving to the concert so I can’t just put this back in a car or something.

My friend bought us tickets and I kinda wish she waited for them to potentially drop in price.

My friend and I are going to one of her shows in a few weeks. We got lawn tickets as a worst case, but we decided we’d get actual seats closer to the date when they (most likely) come down in price. Well today she texted me saying she bought tickets cause they’ve been jumping up in price. Which in my mind I’m like “of course they are, it’s still like 3 weeks before the concert and they’ll probably go down significantly in the days prior” but she didn’t wanna take that chance and while a small part of me agrees with her (cause watch, this would be the one time we hold off and the prices don’t come down) I’m also kinda bummed cause I really do feel like we could’ve gotten better seats with a better price if we just waited a little bit. However, and this is where I feel like I have no right to complain, her husband offered to pay for them and she’s pregnant so she wanted to make 100% sure she got a seat. But I don’t like people paying for me, I always feel like I owe them. Anyway this is just a halfhearted vent I guess. I know some people can’t afford or get tickets so I should be happy and I am. I’m still excited, like many of you Hilary was my childhood and I still religiously listen to her so I know I’ll have a good time!! I just wish we had closer seats and were paying less. Ok small vent session over.

What food/dishes/candy would you recommend to tourists? (Also random question regarding dog laws)

Hi everyone, I’m going to Sweden in a few days for the first time and I’m excited but a little nervous (nothing to do with your country per se, just how I always am whenever I go to another country I’ve never been to.) I’m going with a group and my one friend has planned out the itinerary, but I’m wondering if there’s any specific foods/dishes I must try while I’m here? I will probably get Köttbullar, but want to know what else is recommended. I also want to try some of your candies so I’m also asking for recommendations on that as well. I know you guys love the salty licorice but I can’t stand licorice in general so I think I’m gonna have to pass on that. I’m going to be in Stockholm for 3 days and Göteborg for 2 if that helps.

Also completely out of left field, but I have a random question about your laws regarding dogs. I already know you can’t leave them alone for more than 6 hours and they must have regular interaction/exercise, no crates etc but I’m wondering how that is implemented? Like how are people/the authorities going to know if you don’t follow those guidelines? I’m a huge dog lover so hearing this was wild to me (in a good way). It’s crazy cause you guys rely on doggy daycare and pet sitters, which we do have in America (I am one myself part time, literally writing this as I’m letting out my neighbor’s dog, which made me think of this topic) yet I feel like America could never implement these practices.

Anyway that’s all. I’m a quiet person and don’t really speak unless spoken to (with people I don’t know at least) so based on what I’m reading about Swedes hopefully I’ll fit right in and not bother anyone unless I really need to ask for something. Thanks for any answers. Can’t wait to visit.

If I was smarter I would’ve thought of this earlier but I just thought if it like a half hour ago 🙃

I have a family member getting married next weekend and she loves flamingoes. I wanted to paint her two flamingoes that are getting married but I couldn’t find any PBN or pictures of that. I don’t really support AI so I was wondering if there was any way to make a custom image of that without using AI, and if there’s a reputable company that does custom *mini* PBN’s.
