What happens when a dishonest person works with Algol?

I've worked with Algol for several years with great results. I'm curious though, what happens when a person who struggles with honesty, slight manipulation, substance abuse etc. works with Algol? I'm referring to those who may be good people, have good intentions towards others etc. but who struggle with these qualities at times.

Neville’s techniques vs. traditional magic

EDIT: the primary focus is on why there is such resonance when I return to traditional magic when I know it isn’t necessary. Do you guys still use external tools because you enjoy them, even though you know you don’t need them?

I come from a background & training in traditional magic, yet upon discovering Neville, I find that his techniques work extraordinarily well. To be clear, I’ve also had rapid results from traditional magic at times.

Yet I find that reconciling the two belief systems is a bit challenging for me. I understand that different methods can both produce results, but my challenge is more so wondering why magic is necessary if one masters the Law of Assumption.

It seems to me that if one can completely alter their assumptions in a positive direction and transform their self-concept, the issues they use magic for will no longer be as present.

So I wandered away from magic for a bit, yet when I return to it (in some cases) I feel deep resonance and as though I am meant to be doing it. I feel a connection to myself that maybe was missing prior.

I’m curious to know if anyone has any thoughts or ideas surrounding this. Thanks! <3
