My thoughts on the Osmo 360 as a creator
So I spent 3 years doing video editing for studioes before going out on my own about a year ago. Tried a bunch of cameras since then, but osmo 360 is a pretty recent pickup for me.
I feel like a lot of creators run into the same issue I did, which is getting stuck in a rut with angles. After making videos for a while, you realize you're just using the same few shots over and over and everything feels kind of repetitive. What I love about osmo 360 is how it completely bypasses those traditional camera limits. You don't have to lock in your frame before you hit record, you can just shoot and decide on your angles and crops later. Gives me so much room to be creative.
Plus, 360 lenses are just super fun in general. Things like the tiny planet effect, I've tried using it to shoot stuff like making it look like a person is walking on a tiny sphere, or that big-head effect, and grossly exaggerating the size of a bowl when eating. I've been seeing it show up in music videos lately, so you know actual industry pros are using this as a legit artistic thing now.
Anyway, curious if any other creators out there feel the same way about it?
