After seeing how widely acclaimed this game was I had to try it for myself, and man…

It took me a bit to really see how much of a masterpiece it really is. Had to get over a lot of the aspects that didn’t age so well (voice acting, the very necessary save scumming, not being able to choose what to loot from bodies, and the ladders… don’t even get me started), but once I got into the groove I finally reached a flow state where I just couldn’t get enough of the gameplay and the genius level design. I reckon it’s a top 10 game I’ve ever played, I’m just itching to go back lol

Also, POTENTIAL SPOILER: I love how you get multiple choices for the ending, and each one has its major pros and cons. Kinda reminded me of the different factions you can ultimately side with in Fallout New Vegas, another game I recently played for the first time. I ultimately went with Tong’s ending, cuz sometimes I feel like a dark age would maybe be beneficial for society lol. What ending did yall go with?

So for fun, I decided to make my own imaginary Guitar Hero 3 setlist, based solely on my own personal taste. Spent waaay too much free time on this lmao

Anyways, here’s some guidelines I made for myself:

The selection has to follow the exact format as Guitar Hero 3 (5 songs each stage, 3 guitar battles, 6 co-op encores, 25 bonus tracks)
One song per artist, and the song cannot have been already in an official GH/RB release, including DLC
My biases tend to lean towards 00s/90s music, so I did try and diversify not only the decades, but the styles as well
