Losartan and dapagliflozin haven’t been working for me like my doctor was hoping they would. So he wants me to try the new voyxact. A little nervous because it’s so new. Who here has tried it? Any negative symptoms? Seeing reduced proteinuria? My doctor said he is starting patients on this before steroids now because he’s seeing better results with it. I’m a 34 F. TIA
Would we be bad parents if we went on a weekend getaway for our 2 (turning 3) year olds birthday instead of having a birthday party? My husband and I have a 6 year old and almost 3 year old daughters. Her birthday is in the summer and unfortunately this year half our family (8 members/all her cousins) are going to be out of town in Mexico. Thinking of going to the beach or an amusement park suitable for small kids.

My husband doesn’t drink everyday but when he drinks he can’t stop. Doesn’t have a limit. He ends up puking or blacking out 9/10 times when he drinks and this only happens socially. Tonight he put his job, his life, and other’s lives in jeopardy driving and going to the union hall drunk looking for night work. Ended up stuck in the parking lot with no job (thank god) and his brother had to come pick him up. Then I had to go pick him up with our 2 young daughters. I don’t want our daughters growing up seeing this behavior. I don’t know what else to do. It’s causing a ton of resentment and I’ve tried talking to him about this a dozen times and his parents both have too. Longest he’s gone without this happening is 9 months. Alcoholism runs deep in his family. We’ve been married for 8 years. I love him but I’m really done with this. I don’t know what else to do. Is there any advice out there? Does he need to go to drug and alcohol counseling? I really appreciate all advice. TIA
