Hi everyone, what are learning outcomes and how do I identify?
I’m just going through what I need to study for each courses assessments and for example one will say it’s based off of L01 and L03 but how do I find what these are so I can study my notes? 🙂

This one is a chonker
Meet Brumby! My newly introduced rescue rat. She and her sister (who we’ve affectionately named Chai) came from a case of neglect. A local horse trainer I knew bought the 2 for their kids, who have supposedly lost interest, these girls were living in a small cage, no enrichment on straight wire. When I got them all they had was a tube, water and a blanket. Since introducing them to my girls they have been the most playful little buggers ever.
Brumby is called by that name because she is HUGE, 600g! I’m thinking it maybe time for a diet

Missed applied class?
Hi everyone, i’m enrolled in CHEM1040 and i’m dog sick and missing out on an applied class. I’m aware of what the process is for missing practicals etc but obviously this is a bit different
In each tutorial we do a quiz under exam like conditions (6 quizzes) and best of 4 counts towards the exam. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction thanks

Horse genetic nerds help!
I’ve recently purchased this stock horse mare and after she’s shedded out her bleached coat i’ve noticed a few things about her:
dorsal stripe, subtle ticking throughout body, white barring on tail and her flank is a lighter brown despite her face being pure black. Her inner ears are also white. Note in these photos it is definitely not bleached. I hope I don’t sound stupid but is it possible for her to be a really really dark grullo?
as far as I know the dorsal stripe can either be caused by the dun gene, or d1, the tail bars due to rabicano
Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are

Rat cage rusting!
hey everybody! just wanting to ask about how everyone else manages rust in their rat cages. I consistently clean my cage, use rat safe disinfectant and i allow it to dry but i’m still encountering rust at the bottom! wondering how you guys mitigate that.

keeping rats warm and URI free during winter (aussie!)
I’m noticing my little babies are starting to develop sniffles and sneezes as the colder rainy weather begins. their cage is immaculate, spot cleaned often and there is dust free bedding + plenty of warm little spots to go. aussie houses aren’t well insulated, and i also don’t want to keep windows shut as i like them to have airflow in their room. any advice on keeping them as healthy as possible during this cold cold time?
