Gamescape in Greenville, TX opened today and it’s for real
Here right now to watch the 9am minions with my family, and for our little town that just lost its local movie theater last summer, this place is a lifesaver. It has an amazing arcade, Pixel rooms, bowling alley, self serve concessions and, of course, the movie theater. So happy it’s finally here!
We had to take a car in recently that was just past the warranty date for a new alternator and battery. The total price was somewhere around $1200, but I heard (through Gemini) that Ford has a goodwill assistance program. I reached out to them, told them the specifics, and within a few days, they had already negotiated with the Ford dealership to pay the cost of the parts, which left me just responsible for the labor (about $300).
It seems like the only criteria is to be a loyal customer (we've bought Fords for 15 years), get regular maintenance, and be within a certain time of the warranty start date. Our vehicle was a 2024 model with 42,000 miles on it.
I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere, but I looked and couldn't find a dedicated post to it so I wanted to share. Good to know for anyone needing premature repairs!
