Things right now making me think of the movie surrogates. What other movies are there to watch that’s like .. wow .. this could actually happen someday .

I am looking through old records. I see where my grandparents have a deed for land they bought in 1961. but in 1976, they lady who sold it to them sold at least part of it to another family member, there is an indenture for that. how could this be ? how could she sell land she didnt own?
