If you’ve been playing very long at all you probably have many unsellable DMs in your collection unless you exchanged for badges.
With the AH fully crashed I bought copies of my unsellable DM (anything 4k MT or less but got a ton for 3300 MT) Swapped from my collection so I could quick sell my “unsellable” version for 3 k MT. I then also just quick sold the one I just bought. Very quick 2.5 -3 MT.
I was surprised how much it was. Very quick and easy couple 100 K MT for me.
Enjoy your undersized player.
Remember this when deciding if you want to buy 27.
The newest badge of courage with the declining MyTeam player base of NMS.
Let’s break it down
If you pre-ordered the game for early access it’s either $100 or $150. The $150 version gets you 4 pro passes that is normally $10 each.
The $100 version with 9 Pro Passes $190.
$150 version with the 5 Pro Passes not included $200.
I would bet my house most who order the $150 version don’t realize this version is more expensive if Pro Money spent is your battle cry.
Both those numbers are before tax obviously.
At over $200 after tax for either version “Pro Money Spent” is not a badge of honor.
Would you buy a game with an over $200 sticker price? If you are Pro Money Spent then your answer is yes.
Packs are the consistent scam while Pro Passes are the passive grift.
When McDonald’s came out with super size fries years ago, it wasn’t with the expectation that everyone would buy super size fries rather it was the expectation that many would just buy the large since it’s “not as bad” as the super size. Pro pass is the large. VC packs are Super Size for the pigs.
Hey your money do as you please. If $200 for the state 2k is in feels good to you, do as you will.
This post was for those who don’t realize the manipulation tactics companies like 2k uses.
Is $200 a lot of money to everyone? Of course not.
But for some kids and adults $200 matters. The community should recognize this and not paint a picture that the Pro Pass (remember when everything in the pass was free btw) is a must or great buy.
Lastly recognize companies use things like the Pro Pass as a gateway for additional spending. The Hof pass is only $10 more. Oh and it comes with enough VC that for only $20 more you can maybe buy a box.
There’s the reality of Pro Money Spent and it probably wasn’t what you thought.
That end in the next 4 hours and one of those is a D Rose.
2k saw the complaints when they took away the Auction House and made everything unsellable.
Suprise two years later and it’s back. 2k has killed the AH effectively. Sure it’s there but since the only way to get a GOAT card is to pay $100 for an unsellable card it useless.
2k has mastered manipulating the community.
What’s your plan?
Will you be preordering for $150 for the privilege of buying the Pro pass or Hof each season or are you preordering to spend hundreds of dollars on VC some weeks?
I think I may just take a break until it’s free on GamePass. The money grabbing of the last few years vs trying to give us good game has me pretty turned off at the moment.
NMS (well Pro Pass) and haven’t even been working the AH. Anyone heard of any other random bans lately?
This festival probably the worst ever. Very little worth playing for, no increase in pieces available.
2k has zero creativity.
Just had my 4th KOTC game “an error has occurred” and game not counting. This checking your internet connection thing is getting out of hand.
Gold with no badges. Maybe they could make him shorter so he plays small like real life?
Fingers crossed 🤞 until Tuesday content.
2k has been taking away from online. A couple years ago TTO with instant matchmaking was removed for stand around park. Then they removed Clutch Time for guys that want a quick 5 v 5 with no replacement. What’s left for them to remove for players that just want a quick pickup and play experience? Have to assume Salary Cap is gone based on the lack of attention and receives. Clearly doesn’t push VC purchases. Not much else to take away that I can think of.
Maybe have one of the interns or an AI Agent throw together some playoff content?
