Hello, I have been trying to conceive with my wife for about a year now with no luck. In April I went for a SA and the results were not great about half of what range should be. Went back urologist and they suggested a 2nd test to confirm about a month later. I also took a blood test for testosterone and hormone levels and those results came back good with no issues. Have both result numbers below.

Since the first low results I’ve made significant life style changes excercising now at least 5 days a week, cutting out sugar as much as possible, replacing snacking with fruits. Already ate well meal wise so just continuing that and eliminating fried foods as well.

Unfortunately I don’t see my urologist again until June 1st so I’m left waiting for about 10 days with these results. Feeling stuck and stressed about this situation as I wait.

I just got an email my account was banned, but not really sure why. I’m brand new to chess and it has become a fun time killer so I’ve only had an account for a few months now. I’m still pretty bad and lose a lot. Was like a 200 rating at one point and went up to a 800ish recently.

I filed an appeal but I didn’t get a confirmation email or anything. So was wondering from everyone’s experience if the appeal would even get answered or if they just push you to do that 2nd chance account option?

New to this app and chess in general so just not sure if it’s best to wait for the approved appeal or not. Thanks!

I took a semen analysis about a month ago and numbers were all low count+mobility. Was ordered another test to confirm results on June 1st. Since the low results I have been exercising more and cutting sugar, just living healthier overall.

However, I have a close friends wedding next weekend and want to enjoy myself. Would one night of drinking skew or hurt the results on a test a week later?

I have had what I believe to be an anal fissure on and off for a few years. There is no pain, but occasionally every few months I’ll either wipe too hard or pass are harder stool and it will aggravate it I guess. So for a few days when I wipe there will be blood on toilet paper and around the anus, but no pain or blood in the actual stool itself.

Anyways, is there a cure for an anal fissure or just some you live with and try to proactively live a life style to prevent it from happening again?

Been trying to conceive for about 11 months now. Mid-April took my first SA and everything came back low. Urologist recommended taking another in about a month so I have a 2nd SA scheduled for June 1st. I took blood tests and hormone/testosterone all came back looking good.

In the meantime I’ve been exercising more and improving diet.

I’ve read you have to wait 3 months here between tests. Is that true? Will about 6 weeks between tests like my doctor ordered still show different results?

Recently had a semen analysis and results came back pretty bad. All about half of what the desire amount should be. Had a follow up with Dr, and he just took a blood test and suggested taking another SA in the next few weeks to see if the test was a fluke.

I asked if there’s things I should be doing since I’ve read here and online people take supplements and he told me there’s no evidence those help and didn’t give me a recommendations.

Wondering if that’s the case for others and your Drs have said something similar? Or if I should maybe consider finding a new urologist who will be more helpful.
