Anyone else find themselves avoiding certain episodes?

I'm rewatching the whole series right now and I'm really dragging my feet queuing up season 3 episode 9 because I know what's coming. I know the rest of the series is great but I just don't want Matthew/Mary to be over yet. I know he had his reasons for leaving the show, but my biggest (and really only gripe) about this series is how much time was invested in Matthew and Mary's long, drawn out on again/off again courtship and relationship, only for it to be dramatically curtailed in the end.

FS: Basically New Nuna AACE Booster

We bought two AACE boosters for our two cars and unfortunately it's too wide for one of our cars, so need to sell one of them. It's like new, Caviar color, asking $250 and can deliver it. Retail is $300 + tax and Nuna rarely/never discounts. Includes all accessories.

PSA: The Odyssey at the Bullock IMAX nearly sold out

If you were planning to catch The Odyssey at the Bullock and waited to buy (like I did), the evening showings are now sold out for the entire run. The 3:30pm showings still show good availability. It's possible they extend the run, as the Bullock has done so in the past for more popular titles.

How are we finding nannies?

Hi all - our daughter is entering kindergarten and we're planning to take advantage of after school care but would prefer it not to be all 5 days. I work from home so we'd like to find a part time nanny who can pick her up after school a few days a week, bring her to the house, and watch her until around 5:30. Seems like a perfect job for a current UT student with a flexible schedule. Anyone have any recommendations as to where to find potential candidates? Bambino is only for individual babysitting sessions so we struck out there. TIA!

Am I in the wrong?

Background: After some research and several quotes, we hired a painter to limewash our master bedroom walls and ceiling and to paint the doors and all the door trim and molding along the floor. At first, everything went smoothly, the owner and his assistant were both here on Monday getting the ceiling completely done, then yesterday it was just the assistant for much of the day getting the first and second coat of limewash on the walls. The owner came at some point in the day to work on the trim/help finish. During the day yesterday, we interacted directly with the assistant several times as we were finalizing samples for the trim before he started it (this detail is relevant later). At the end of the day yesterday, we said the limewash looked great (though it had not finished drying yet) and mentioned the trim needed more work. They agreed to come back today to fix the trim work. However, apparently they considered the limewash to be done and approved by us yesterday, as you'll see.

Today: This morning, my spouse and I did a more thorough walkthrough of the walls given a) the paint had been able to fully dry overnight, and b) the room was much brighter given it was the morning and our room gets the most sunlight then. We discovered 2-3 places where the actual wall was showing (as in, they'd missed it) and also discovered a dark drop of paint on one of the walls. The assistant showed up (it was only him here today) and I showed him what we'd found, and he said he'd touch them up. At no point did he bother to mention that it's typically inadvisable to touch up limewash, as it never looks good, and he also opted not to contact the owner. He then proceeded to "touch" up the spots I mentioned, plus 7-8 additional spots I didn't point out or ask him to look at. They looked awful and much worse than they had before he tried to fix them. They also did an extremely sloppy job on the molding along the floor. The owner returned with the assistant in the afternoon today, and attempted again to fix the touched-up spots by using some water to blend them. They've now fully dried and still look pretty much the same (very noticeable).

Next steps/question: The owner proposed coming back tomorrow to try and use some of the actual limewash paint to fix the spots, though that seems to have a very low chance of success. In the likely event this doesn't work, he also proposed then applying a third coat of limewash on all the walls, which, while not ideal, is probably still better than starting from scratch (2 coats of primer on the walls and ceiling and redoing the entire job). I'm concerned applying a third coat to the walls will dramatically change the texture and look of the walls. The problem is the painter is insisting that we'll have to pay for the paint for a third coat (which we're fine doing) as well as the labor, which we're not fine doing given this whole situation was avoidable if his assistant, who we'd previously interacted with, had simply said something or contacted the owner. As the customer, we were relying on their expertise and didn't know any better in this situation. His rationale is that he considered the limewash job done and his understanding was that they were only coming back to do touchups on the trim today. Again, his assistant did not communicate or say anything to us, and had he said something or contacted the owner, we likely would've said to just forget it and leave it as-is. Are we being unreasonable? He's just doubled down on what the cost will be for a third coat and I'm torn between suggesting we talk in person tomorrow and basically telling him we're not paying him a dime on the original quote until the job is fixed. Example of the "touch-up" below.

Boosters for Refreshed 6-Seater

This has been discussed before but none of the past threads seem to provide anything definitive. We have a 5-year-old and are trying to find a backed booster that will work with the annoying Model X seats in either the 2nd or 3rd row. Nothing seems to work because of the shape of the seat and the headrests being static. There's always a gap. The only ones we've seen somewhat consistent feedback on are the Uppababy Alta V2 and the Diono Radian 3R. We just tried the Alta in the car at a store and there was a decent gap.

What is everyone doing for backed booster seats? Or are people just accepting there's a gap, which runs counter to the guidance from all the manufacturers?
