I honestly didn’t hate any episodes till now, i obviously hate the sudden “clara” angle and vought rising characters and their story build up while completely ignoring the actual cast members but it still felt like they were going towards something, this episode SO fucking lacklustre it would be a bad episode even if it was in season 1 episode 3 or something.
1, They set up ryan becca for seasons only for ryan to disappear, no mention of homelander’s son and the person for whom butcher is doing all of this for her son, this season could bea separate show with no backstory because the past 4 seasons don’t matter at all.
2, WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THEM BEING KIDNAPPED STARLIGHT FLYING W SUPERPOWERS last season?
3, WHAT WAS THE POINT OF FUCKING GEN V Marie did kill someone with V1 btw, Sam is super powerful, they have a psychic someone who can copy powers. God damn.
4, Why did butcher kill nueman if he had to just be so fucking normal more normal than season 1?
5, If everybody was so scared last episode why did they not build up some fear of homelander? why didn’t he do something scary. He is doing exactly what he did even when he was controlled by vought whats the point of immortality.
6, boy don’t even get me started on black noir, sage, even if they had to make them look ridiculous it could’ve been in a better way?
The boys seem like a side character clara sb set up is more important. Fucking money hungry writers directors and producers, abusing people’s support of something for years to sell them something new it is indeed ironic how the boys became what it parodied, whatever ending they give it doesn’t matter because the set up, homelander’s fear is the least this season. Other than how they wrapped A train’s story and Deep’s storyline, everything else is just chatgpt writing. Disappointing AF!!!!
